Can anyone verify this is true mp3 320? The archive comes with a digi book, and I thought that would suggest a digi download, so more like 256 or vbr?

Dollars to doughnuts it's just a 256K transcode.

So basically he stole my upload? Second time..

Stole is a very strong word, perhaps borrowed with the intent of never returning it, something akin to "borrowing" a cup of sugar from your neighbour.

Anybody dissapointed with this one? It starts perfectly with full symphonic patriotic theme (in the vein of Brian Tyler's TIMELINE score), the second track adds awesome full choir (I was getting really excited at this point), and after a couple of tracks it goes straight to electronic rumbling and never seems to recover... It's a shame, it contains some nice themes and snare-drum / horns driven melodies, but the un-listenable synth passages just drive the whole soundtrack down.

Yup. At first I was like "Huh, this is actually a somewhat entertaining clone of Brian Tyler's Battle Los Angeles score," but after a while all that electronic nonsense started kicking in and I fell into a coma apparently, because I can't remember anything between track 5 and 22. Shame, really.

The very first thing I thought the second I started to hear the patriotic guitar was "Brian Tyler does it again", since I hadn't taken time to look into the information prior to watching the movie. And then I saw that it wasn't Briant Tyler and I was like "huh". But yeah, the patriotic theme is definitely there, but there's so much action in the movie, that it's hard to keep the theme loud and present.

Strangely enough, Brian happened to pull it off to many degrees in Battle L.A. I went home and watched that after seeing Olympus Has Fallen lol.

Thanks. Great score. A blend of JNH's Salt (first non-apocalyptic action score since a while with choirs) and Callery's 24 (especially with the trumpet solos).
