I have a 47 track version that runs 73 minutes. It's in 320 MP3 but no tracklisting and the sound quality is pretty dreadful.

I don't have that version so I can't compare quality, but it does sound more complete. This was uploaded as a request from abraxos. 27.9 minutes does seem short for a complete score. I just assumed they used the same tracks multiple times throughout the film. I've only seen the film once, so I'm not sure.

The version I originally uploaded was a promo, apparently. The real complete score is now available via the "Download" link.

Thanks for that,i was using firefox, never had any probs till then,so used it on chrome, worked like a charm!!
Ive wanted this score for ages,i think Graeme Revell did a brilliant job re-creating the Bernard Herrman score!
Thanks a lot!
I would like to know if someone could tell me if the sound quality of the promo is any better than this one?

Hi guys,
It's pretty lame when there is no track listing for our albums so today I watched the film, named the tracks accordingly and re-ordered them to film order. The first number is the number of the original track on the album. The second number represents its proper film order, followed by a track title. Hope this helps...

I've taken the liberty of re-uploading this with the new sequence keyed in, duplicates removed, and some new art I put together myself.
Many thanks to Kolpitz for the original upload, to codyap09 for the new version, and gary66706 for the re-sequencing.

Has anyone been able to indentify the source music cues that play in the film.

Thanks for this. Never saw the movie nor read anything about Revell's score prior, so colour me surprised to hear him liberally adapting Herrmann's original to such accomplished ends.

Thanks, I actually enjoyed this movie and Revell did make some beautiful themes for Mother in some of the flashback scenes.

Agreed that Revell incorporated some nice cues that fit very well with what was, at the time, a 30-year-old score. Track 33 is particularly nice, when Norman is reminiscing about the picnic as a boy where Mother takes her hair down and it rains. Lovely.
