Has anyone had the chance to listen to the score for God of War: Ascension by Tyler Bates? I have to admit that I'm somewhat disappointed that Gerard K. Marino didn't do the score, but Tyler Bates did allright. He brings the right kind of atmosphere to the music, and incorperated certain themes Gerard Marino created for previous installements into his music. which is also nice, that the new composer does respect the work of the previous one. Like with the scores for AvP requiem & Predator, you can hear the themes of the Predator created by Allan Silvestri.

yes he did. I think he is one of the few composers like Gerard Marino and Allan Silvestri capable of delivering epic music for games or movies dealing with Greek history or mythology. Even though Javiar Navarrete did do a excellent job, it could have been done better with Wrath of the Titans, especially with Clash of the Titans.

Clash Of The Titans was scored by Ramin Dwajadi. Navarrete's score was a improvement, but the loud mix of synths ruined it.
