I'm new to FFShrine and I love the scores on the shrine, but I don't understand why there's so many dead links. Like a week after someone's uploaded a score (even a few days) it's gone and there's loads of 'Re-Ups' which get taken down as well!
What's the main reason for dead links here? People deleting stuff or copyright issues?

Copryright issues.
Strict hosting sites.
Not enough protection on uploads (passwords, encryption, double-archiving, same file sizes, etc).

Having the same file sizes can easily give your uploads away if no one adds a simple text file or anything.
The hosting sites may have a database and log all their flagged material and do a comparison to any new uploads and put 2 and 2 together.

torrents are an easy way to get tracked and taken court. especially for the residents of USA.
other p2p methods are already in favor.

however, a more apt approach to any p2p deployment would be to employ a vpn.

Generally they use torrents without VPN.

Finding the right VPN that protect their clients is not easy.
Usually you'll have to pay for a great VPN service.

Not to mention, if this site takes up on a private tracker, there's the much larger issue of maintaining funds to keep such services active.

Plus other considerations.

Personally, I'd start browsing the forum for people who say they're using SoulSeek (and shout out for invites) and other such p2p avenues.

It just came across my mind that there are "seedboxes" one can invest in to share their stuff for torrents.
Speed Up Your Torrent Downloads, Get a Seedbox (http://anonym.to/?http://torrentfreak.com/10-reasons-why-you-need-a-seedbox-080715/)

And now some info on VPN's for torrent~
What’s The Best VPN / Proxy for BitTorrent? (http://anonym.to/?http://torrentfreak.com/best-vpn-proxy-bittorrent-110618/)

With a seedbox, users would be able to distribute their shares and not worry so much about the speed concerns (seed VS. leech ratio; independent ISP speed/throttling).
Let the seedbox share with godly speeds.

All torrent and magnet url's can be shared privately in PM boxes with the torrent published to an open/public tracker.

Food for thought.
