“Hey, bud, let’s party!”

THE MOVIE
Fast Times at Ridgemont High is often considered one of the finest films of a disreputable genre (the teen sex comedy). Released in 1982, it wove the catchphrase “Hey, bud, let’s party!” into the fabric of American teen and college speak everywhere.
Academy Award-winner Sean Penn leads an all-star cast (Jennifer Jason Leigh, Phoebe Cates, Judge Reinhold, Ray Walston) in this hilarious portrayal of a group of southern California high school students and their most important subjects: sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.

THE SOUNDTRACK
Featuring decade-defining music from The Go-Go's, Oingo Boingo, The Cars, members of the Eagles and Jackson Brown.
In this complete soundtrack I've included 2 versions of the Cars "Moving In Stereo";
first is the instrumental movie version, made famous by the Phoebe Cates "Pool" scene followed by the complete album version.
From the BluRay I've been able to capture cleaner versions of Reeves Nevo And The Cinch "Life In The Fast Lane" and "Wooly Bully", although still not perfect, they are certainly worth listening to.
And lastly there's the infamous "Mystery DVD Menu Track" (which we believe is) played by Universal Studio Musicians. If you happen to play the DVD menu, you'll notice a catchy 80's rock tune; the chorus has a striking resemblence to the Spencer Davis Group's "Gimme Some Lovin'". Although no one has ever determined the true Name or Artist responsible for this track.
All in all, this is a great compilation; guaranteed you'll find a favorite here.
Enjoy!
