can anyone help get the bodyguard manual it is impossible where do i have to lure Xiahou dun to, on Guan yus escape?

Ahhh, a fellow Dynasty Warriors fan. Heh, I love this game, and now that I have Dynasty Warriors 4 Extreme Legends, I love this game even more! LOL

Anywayz, to your request...

I can not stress how important it is that you use Guan Yu, preferably once you've have Guan Yu's rank maxed out (Have all six costumes) and have at the very least, his level 9 weapon. All you really need to do is beat your way through the stage and once you see a message about Xiahou Dun's unit in pursuit of carriage just get past the 5th gate. Just wait in the section after the 5th gate. Kill him in this section and Item Repot should appear.

If you play as anyone other than Guan Yu, you run the risk of Guan Yu and the carriage making it to the end of the level, thus ending it.

Also, if you have the Xtreme Legends expansion pack for this game, you can find the bodyguard manual in the Legend stage of Cao Ren. Once again, consider leveling him to the rank of Max, and get him his level 9 weapon (Trust me, leveling your characters up, in the Dynasty Warriors games, really helps. Especially in the Expert mode of the expansion pack.). All you have to do, is save Niu Jing from immediate attack by Gan Ning, and another Wu officer. A precious Item Report at top left corner of the map bottom square area. Go there, grab it, and escort Niu Jing back to the castle, beating Zhou Tai, Zhou Yu and the other Wu forces. You only need to get Niu Jing back to the gate, and get there yourself.

Equip the Red Hare harness, Peacock Urn, Tiger Amulet, Tortoise Amulet and The art of Musou. You need the extra power from these items, because you can't have any bodyguards in this level.

One thing about the bodyguard manual. Even before I got the item, and afterwards, I never really wanted to get it, or use it. Why? Because I've trained my bodyguards a certain way, and have four sets of powerful bodyguards, their ranks - Tiger (Yellow Turban bodyset), Expert (Generic Male bodyset), Dragon (Generic Female bodyset) and Master (Nanman Female bodyset). The Dragon rank is the best, high level HP and musou, as well as max attack and defense. They also use the lightning orb.

i only wanted it mainly because i am trying to complete the whole game and do all the extras and so on and at the moment i have all the items (except the bodyguard manual) and have done all the mousu modes (my best character is Xiao Qiao) and basically i am a completist freak and thanks for your help it is very much appreciated :D

How to get Zhao Yun's lvl 10 weapon. I had trouble with this one myself, and eventually got a guide off the net as well. The guide said you have to play the battle of Bo Wan Po. Of course, play of the Hard lvl, and equip the best items you have, and use the best trained bodyguards you have, you'll definately need them!

First of all, lure Xiahou Dun (He is the ultimate BADASS OF DYNASTY WARRIORS 4!!) to the first trap, a fire attack and defeat him. Then, lure Han Hao to Guan Ping's ambush zone and defeat him (I've heard some people say, allow Han Hao to defeat Guan Ping, but I'm not sure about that.) then lure Yu Jin to Guan Yu's ambush, and defeat Yu Jin.

Alternatively, and this was how I got Fierce Dragon for Zhao Yun, in Dynasty Warriors 4 Extreme Legends, I played the Legend of Zhao Yun on hard, and defeat the following : Cao Ren, Xu Huang, Cheng Yu, Xu Chu, and Xiahou Yuan. Not too hard right? Well... you have a time limit here, and you MUST kill the 5 Wei officers in under 5 minutes. A friend tried this, and Cheng Yu ran away. You MUST kill him, to get the "Zhao Yun has acquired the Fierce Dragon weapon" message.

Thng is, you can get every characters lvl 10 weapon, in the Extreme Legends pack, by playing their legend mode on the hard setting, and meeting certain objectives during the mission.

i will tell you since i have got it first you need to be playing the battle of Bo Wan Po and you can do it on free mode. First you have toLead Xiahou Dun to the ambush location on the middle pathindicated (fire attack), then defeat him. Lure Han Hao to the ambush locationon the top path indicated (Guan Ping ambush), and then defeat him. Lead Yu Jin to the ambush location on the upper bridge indicated (Guan Yu ambush),and then defeat him. Zhang Fei should raid the supply depot in an event. WhenZhuge Liang meets Cao Cao a cut scene should occur.Tip: If Zhuge Liang does not enter the castle you can use ahorse to push himinside by moving sideways. Alternately, you can lead Cao Cao to Zhuge Liang. When Zhuge liang does not enter the castle becos you can not push him try executing a mousu near him to make him move and keep doing this to make enter the castle
