My friend, you don�t know what you are missing, I recommend you to rent it right away, the film is an absolute joy.

Directed by Beeban Kidron, definitely is my favorite from her, I used to watch this movie once every year, I love Rachel Weisz in this, one of here first roles she�s so lovely, you�ll fell in love with her.

"Joseph Conrad wrote a beautiful story depicting the love, trials and tribulations of an alienated couple living on the coast of Cornwall in the latee nineeteenth century.

Beeban Kidron tells this tale with a magnificent film.

Well my friend, the score not only does that, it also makes you to feel more in love, grateful to be alive and enjoy this beautiful and haunting music, another favorite from my wife.

Kidron she used to work every time with Portman, this is her only collaboration with Barry, but a magnificent one, she was more than happy with the final result:

"I knew that John had graced the film with a voice even greater than the one which I had been struggling to express"


Very well directed, amazing performances, excellent photography, a wonderful score, in sum, you must watch this movie right away, this month, the month of Love!
