The films which you were so completely pumped for or had such high hopes for and in the end you were utterly crushed.
--------------------
Blood the Last Vampire (2009) (live action) -- One of those films where the trailer is better than the entire film. There's a few of those on this list.
Bubba Ho-Tep -- Love Bruce Campbell but this was so boring
Four Flies on Grey Velvet -- Late to be released in America Argento film, now I know why.
Ghost Rider -- Neither of the GR films were any good. This one needs a restart.
The Howling (1981) -- Horror classic my butt
Night of the Comet -- Was hyped by friend as classic 80s horror. Not so.
Be Kind Rewind -- Probably the most true case of 'trailer is better than the film'.
Cold Fish -- Loved Sono's Suicide Club but this was way too long and the main character was completely infuriating.
Dead Snow -- Half the film is a group of college kids snowboarding.
Diary of the Dead -- Hyped by gf's father. We no longer accept his recommendations.
Giallo -- Your days are over Argento
Inception -- Watched this two times in a row and still couldn't bring myself to give it more than 2 out of 5.
Insidious -- Biggest letdown of recent memory.
The Invisible -- Trailer better than film. Forget this movie fast, most people have.
Planet of the Apes (2001) -- Anyone who saw this will agree.

The only one that can come to mind is "Identity Thief", horrible movie with such great potential!

We all have our opinions. But I have to respectfully disagree with Inception. On the contrary, it's one of the best films. You may have to watch it more than once to truly grasp and understand it all. But it's a great film directed by one of THE BEST directors of our lifetime, Christopher Nolan.
You wanna talk worst a.k.a. most disappointing:
TMNT III
Batman and Robin
Superman 3
The Crow: Wicked Prayer ( the second and third ones, while still crap fests weren't as bad as this one)
I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer
Every Hellraiser after II
Halloween 3
Every Friday The 13th film after Jason Lives
Wes Craven's New Nightmare
Friday The 13th and Elm Street remakes
Every movie since 2000 with some notable exceptions like Harry Potter films, Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit, Lovely Bones, Nolan's Batman trilogy, Avengers (and all the Marvel films leading up to it) and small number of others
I'll add more if I think of any.

Disaster Movie. I know it's a spoof movie but still... it was literally a disaster. It wasn't nearly as funny as the Scary Movies or Date Movie.
Halloween 3 - not even a mention of Michael...
Underworld Awakening. I liked it but... I don't know, I just didn't like it as much as the previous 3. Not as much blood and gore. I also watched it in 3-D and it was very flat so that was also a letdown. The giant lycan was cool though.
I'll try to think of more...

I was actually planning on seeing this too. Looked funny from the trailer... oh well.

Of the four Underworld Movies, I enjoyed Rise Of The Lycans the least. Not because Kate wasn't in it. But because it was a prequel to the first. I tend to not like it when prequels aren't the first of the franchise released. The only exception to this is probably Star Wars because I don't the prequels were intended to ever be made into films till a huge demand and constant thoughts of how Anakin became Vader. I don't know. Just my opinion.
Super hero movies are the only other exception as you can read about how they came to be in comics. Speaking of, I hated Super hero movie. I hate all spoofs. Just not my thing.

Anything made by Zack Snyder, the man is all about visuals, and nothing about performance or emotion, just as long as it looks good. Every film he has made has bored me, as I just never cared about any single character, ever. The man is a DoP punching far above his weight.

Gravity. Technically impressive, but the story and the ending especially really lame.

The Others. Lame, and non-scary. The biggest, long-played, [potential] jump-scare...and the music builds up to... "Where are the curtains?!"..
Total waste of time.

I've walked out of only two movies my whole life. "W." & "Snow White and the Huntsman". There a lot more terrible films out there but those two stand out.

Kick-Ass 2.
Wasn't quite as kickass as the first one. The only good thing about the sequel was Jim Carrey, and that's not saying much.

Hmm. A lot of the movies listed about I would have just assumed would be terrible. I think The 2nd and 3rd matrix's (matrixes? Matrixese?)" were pretty much my biggest let down since I figured they had decent writers, decent script of the first movie and decent cast.

Biggest let down was World War Z. I was hoping for something closer to the book. But NO!!! Two hour of watching Brad Pitt playing himself. First time that I walk out of a theatre.

The Poop Awakens and The Last Poop. These movies killed my childhood.
