It's no different from the Standard Edition release, it actually has less music than the standard edition (It excludes almost of the uses of the Misty Mountain theme, as that's against Academy rules)

How can the fyc exclude the misty mountain references when the album references are the worst I ever heard compared to what's used in the movie?

Because its academy rules. A score by two or more composers may not be submitted for consideration unless they did the same amount of work. Since the misty mountains theme is not Shores they could not include it since everything else except that theme IS Shores. notable cues that are missing include "Roast Mutton", "Over Hill", etc. And the tracks that are included are just the same as they are in the standard ost issue. No film versions

one of the other members with the FYC said in the score hunt thread that he heard some differences. i only have the webrip (he has the actually cd), but mine seems the same as ost tracks (but i have not exhaustively compared).
also, the fyc tracks from the website came tagged as ost tracks (name, track numbers, art) not fyc/promo. but as i said, i do not have disc to actually compare the final fyc with the ost.
