I bought this when it came out over 20 years ago and it's companion piece A Patch of Blue. That shoddy release was relegated to the dustbin when the Intrada version was released. However there has been no reissue of this re-recording. I always enjoyed this more than than original soundtrack so until another release (if one ever does) comes along this is the best version of it. As for Angels, I think it's almost the same as the Harkit release.
