ROMANTIC SAMPLER (film music by Richard Gibbs) (lossless/flac)
Richard Gibbs, who in the early 80s was the keyboardist for Oingo Boingo, went on to score over 50 films and TV shows. As you can see by his filmography at soundtrackcollector.com, Gibbs is known primarily for scoring youth-oriented comedies, whose commercial soundtracks usually featured pop vocals instead of his music. Coming across a promo disc of his "romantic" music would seem to be a real rarity and, as expected, almost all the tracks have never been commercially released. Although there are several ballads here, there are some upbeat numbers too, a funky tango, and some bluegrass as well. So I'd say it's more of a "general sampler" than a "romantic" one.
Although the tracks have titles, they do not indicate what film they are from. I was able to trace many of the tracks, but not all. See spoiler #2 for a rundown.
