I took the instrumental and separated it into 5 channels: Front left and right, back left and right, and made a dedicated sub-woofer channel from the instrumental. I took the version of the song with the vocals and put it into the center channel. So now, this is a true 5.1 copy of the song consisting of the vocals in the main channel, instruments in the front left and right, a dedicated sub-woofer channel, and slightly echoed instruments in the back channels! A surround sound speaker system will be required to fully enjoy this mix.

Edit: Original link was taken down, I am uploading a new version in AC3 format to reduce filesize to 22mb (from around 150mb), the AC3 is encoded at 640kbps. As a result, you can no longer (by default) play this file in Windows Media Player. VLC is the way to go. This file can still be opened in Audacity to view the individual channels.

Good job. Brings a whole new dimensionality to Adele's already atmospheric ballad.

Can't wait for it to open in the US.

i converted it into OGG 5.1 VBR 500Kbps max/ average 320 -> size 11Mo ....

@darth2602 It is probably because Winamp does not use the correct decoders and/or is incorrectly decoding the AC3 file. Try playing it in VLC media player. If it's still inverted I will upload a .wav version that will decode properly in all players. Be warned though, it's 150mb for the .wav version due to it being uncompressed.
