I bring you today another very good Asian symphonic score. :) In my humble opinion. ;)
This is my first introduction to this composer and I admit that I love every moment of this soundtrack. There is just moment that makes me laugh a bit. Henry Lai composed his own "epic" theme for this movie, and sometimes I feel like Chinese Martial Artists VS Cowboys. yes you may feel a bit of western tune there. At least I feel like that. :p
Aside that funny issue. The soundtrack has a work of tradicional asian instruments also, specially in percussions. One of my favorite best touches are the melodic harp melody. We have choir and some kind of ambience in suspense almost looking like horror mood. But the "other" instruments he used for it, is interesting in its own way.
The melodies of soundtrack are touchy and the action tunes are awsome.
For a first time hearing this composer, I was surprised by the positive. :) The vocal ending song in mandarin (I think) is Orchestral and really wonderfull. :)

In fact, I have been here already more then you think. But I had more Asian Horror soundtracks, which is not exactly your style, so I never told you about them. :p
