Having mysteriously obtained the links (thank you very much) I must say I'm realyl enjoying these. Those old CPO recordings won't win any sound or performance quality awards, but it's a real goldmine of very rare music. Splendid stuff!

Not to take the wind out of anyone's sails, nice as it is to offer Korngold.... I had these discs many years ago and found the performances to be pretty poor. I highly recommend the Chandos recordings as well as others when it comes to a satisfactory Korngold collection that is played with pizazz.

This is the only set of the orchestral works of EWK, and one individial disc from ASV played by Bruckner Orchestra. I agree the Chandos ones with BBC orchestra would sounds marvelous. Hope they repackage them into cardboard box and I'll get one.
