I was in kindergarten and my teacher showed a 16mm film of Peter and the Wolf. As soon as I heard the main theme, the hair on my arms stood up. I knew I was going to be a musical person from then on. The second soundtrack I became attached to was Jesus Christ Superstar, and then the Jaws soundtrack! Jaws changed my life when I saw it. There's no doubt that the music made that movie.

As a kid I really liked 80's rock and pop music, I listened to Billy Idol and Michael Jackson as a toddler way before I took my first music lessons in elementary school so I was a little biased. I think though the turning point was in seventh grade or so when I got the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack for Christmas and from then on I was fascinated by the sounds of Nobuo Uematsu and because of his music I learned about Yoko Shimomura, and Yasunori Mitsuda, so it was pretty cool. Final Fantasy Tactics to this day remains to be my favorite Instrumental/Atmosphere/Videogame soundtrack.

Yeah, Peter and the Wolf was also one of my earliest real listening experiences.

And The Lion King, definitely.
