Scorepranos… YOU ARE OUR HERO!!!!!! I have absolutely no questions whatsoever, but thanks! I don’t care if the next complete film score is Point of No Return, Drop Zone or Chill Factor, you just keep doing the very BEST work!!!!!!!
Second: Can someone point me in the right direction to find the aforementioned suites that are missing here? Thanks.
Are these the suites you were talking about?

Cat Suite (15:39)
Moody Bruce New Transfiguration Suite (8:38)
A Dark Knight Suite (4:51)
Bane Action 103 BPM Mezzo Suite (5:20)
This is definitely one of my most anticipated releases of the year, if not THE highest, so, I don’t even think I need to state how happy this makes me.

You should know by now that if it’s not posted in FLAC it’s not going to be.
Be happy with what you have, bucko. What you see is what you get. Be happy…
Unfortunately no. I’m sure they will pop up within the week though.
I say this without patrionage… YOU ARE THE MAN!
Rob
I’m almost crying out of happiness right now. And a few people around here know I hate Hans Zimmer, so that’s freaking saying something.
What a legend. Obliged, sir.
The End (6:12)
Where are these tracks from this upload?
scorepranos, you’re not only my hero, but the hero of all of us. i don’t know how to thank you, seriously words can’t describe how thanful i am. i wish i could do anything for your, to give you the happiness that you’re giving to us. hope you and your family are blessed with health, luck and happiness! thank you so much!
now the thin red line? 0:]
The End (6:12)
Where are these tracks from this upload?
More suites, like I said previously, the suites are not here. End credits is just cues mixed together. "The End" is just a suite and not in the actual film.
Oh, okay. Great. Thank you for the clarification. I believe I already have the track The End. But I wish I had this version of the End Credits track along with the suites. You have any idea when those will see the light of day?
You Just Made My Life Sooooooooooo Much Better this Week with This & Angel & Demons !!! And That Says Something Considering I’m in Med School .. i Just Can’t stop listening whilst studying which means i spend my whole day listening : )
So Thanks so Much Really
Moody Bruce New Transfiguration Suite = Aurora
A Dark Knight Suite = Orphan
could this be right?
Scorepranos, you’re the frickin’ boss!
Hey you are the first that posted the recording sessions of Batman Begins,so you are too a hero, and Takehiro that posted the Dark Knight Sessions
So all three of you deserve a humble thank you 🙂
"The End" is a bonus track on the official soundtrack.

True that! I love these films and their scores… to have all 3 scores complete is a ginormous credit to all 3 of you! Thanks again cheeseparty67, Takehiro and scorepranos!!!!!
It’s the real deal, Darth. 100% legit.

Yes, there are quite some differences, but I’m not going to complain one bit.
I may go through and make a few notes/observations later based on memory, though.
yes…Yes…YES! 😀
although im wondering when TLS will get leaked…….cause if he got this score that fast then hes got to have TLS…. 😉
i hope.
im so fucking happy right now nobody has any idea.
I may go through and make a few notes/observations later based on memory, though.
i was just looking forward to hearing those… after you see the film 8 times… you notice things like that… so glad to have the alley fight 🙂
that i dont care about… it’s just i have seen the movie 8 times and noticed the difference… but i take it these are the raw sessions… so maybe it was changed up in post editing… thank you for this tho man
now… about The Hunger Games…. hoping the odds are ever in my favor 🙂
No "End Credits"?
yes please scorepranos gives us The Hunger Games. That would be incredible!
By the way, you are like the most amazing guy ever. Thank you for all of the complete scores that you’ve been so gracious to give us!
No "End Credits"?
we will get that December 4th lol
Best reply I’ve ever seen, mate. I literally LOL’d.
when Far Cry 3 is released? 😛
December 4th is when TDKR comes out on home release (DVD, bluray, BS ultraviolet)… i may buy it off itunes because i HATE this cloud shit
including the end credits? technically speaking, end credits would be a suite…
the end credits is the usual beginning that BB & TDK had, then Imagine The Fire, part of DKR 7m52-53 Not An Ordinary Citizen, part of DKR 4m26 Miranda Visits Wayne, then DKR 6m44 Without A Rope or the soundtrack title, Why Do We Fall?
Well, actually, the latest suites seem longer than the ones posted, and there are some still missing, and some are on the OST. I think the original Imagine the Fire and The Shadows Betray You are supposed to be some of the new suites, plus The End.
"If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal… you become something else entirely. A legend, (Mr. W/ayne) Mr. Scorepranos , a legend!"
thanks a lot!!

to those interested here’s an additional alternative cover (http://tsdfrontcovers.wordpress.com/2012/10/06/the-dark-kight-rises-cs-hans-zimmer/)
Actually it’s not exactly the same, it’s unique to this film and then leads into "Backup" from Batman Begins.
that’s why i said usual…. the mix for TDK is different than BB…
and the only thing i was disappointed about in TDKR score was that the mix used in BB (Initiation Into League/Temple Fight/Saving Ducard, Bruce Left For Dead) & TDK (Wired) wasn’t used… guess that was a JNH mix then huh?
However, there are a few cues missing. Something should be in between "Imagine the Fire" and "Chasing the Convoy East." The first half of "Imagine the Fire" is alternate. I didn’t really get to listen to much else, but it is a very great upload.

Well, it’s better then nothing guys… just trying to help. Welcome and stuff…
Now of course this doesn’t detract from my overall elation over this release – it’s still for all intents and purposes a complete score. There are minor things left to be desired, but petty considering a number of hours ago we still only had maybe a quarter of the music we have now.
That is because the bulk of what is in the final film mix is made up of cues from the previous scores, cut and pasted into this score.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/8315hu
My apologies, but both tracks are in low quality.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/8315hu
The End is NOT used in the film at all
According to HZ’s fan-site, it’s on the list… but you’re right.
Free Cloud Storage – MediaFire (http://www.mediafire.com/?f6yvc4h7bfyr3ge)
and I got a simple idea, why can’t they just release the recording sessions digitally now forget 2/3 disc complete scores and no more 1 disc soundtracks with basically a hefty 50-70 min sample 😛

Tyrion, please listen to this advice. Use initials instead of using names because that hosting site tracks down copyrighted materials.
Believe me, I am forever grateful to cheeseparty, KaFarqGatri and scorepranos who helped get the complete scores and leaking them.
Thank you so very much for this one.
….and it’s ridiculous when they do….

thanks so much ^_^
just pointing it out, I am absolutely pleased with what we got now
you rock scorepranos!
I completely second that !
Does it include the cue names? Or just the slate numbers?

Thanks a lot scorepranos 🙂
big thanks Man!!!
(edit: ‘Out’ is in, heehee)
The tracklists for GLADIATOR and THIN RED LINE have already been deleted from H-Z.com. Must be sensitive material. Mmmm who is this….David? If you are reading this, show us what you’ve got, put audio to text. Scorepranos beat you to it with TDKR, but perhaps you can still redeem yourself…
Respect is earned.
Someone on here had previously uploaded an expanded score before this one was available, and you can listen to the track ‘The Bat Saves The Cat’ which does have the piece thats missing at the same time to know what i mean, but im sure most of you probably already know anyway.
I have no clue how to, but im sure it wouldnt be hard for someone who knows how to edit music to possibly incorporate that missing piece into the complete score track?

Just click on the orange or red cross in the top right of the screen. No need to enter a number.
Thank you

Hey man this link doesnt work, says file doesnt exist.
The Prologue is what sold me on the movie in IMAX. The complete sound mix (especially the score) was an assault to the senses on every level and I was disappointed to see that the music was completely left off of the album, add to that the horrible suite/split-track presentation of the album and you’ve got a complete miserable experience. As soon as the movie was released I just knew I had to have these sessions. Seeing it in the IMAX was one experience I’ll definitely never forget. Great people, new appreciation from an old grudge against the composer, and the fact that The Dark Knight came out on my birthday in 2008 but the theatre was sold out and I made the mistake of not pre-booking. I luckily did not make that mistake with The Dark Knight Rises and I’m happy that the series came out, once again, near my birthday so I got to see the grand finale of an interesting franchise creating an entirely new spin on the Batman mythos in the grandest presentation possible. Then after months of patiently waiting, this score gets released in a more proper presentation after rumor began to spread of its existence. My displeasure with the album is not a secret but admittedly when I originally posted my request I didn’t believe it could possibly happen because I know of the bullshit that circulates around here and eventually forgot about it then out of nowhere, here it comes!
Like was the case with Angels and Demons complete score, I noticed more issues with the inconsistent volume of the presentation over the extended silences at the beginning and end of some (but not all) tracks. After a quick balancing though, I managed to fix those issues and create a more consistent listening experience. Some tracks were mixed way too loud (not to mention the bass is so heavy in even the least threatening cues on the album) while the more quiet ones were near silent and in some cases all 3 of those cases occurred in the same track which was its own nightmare. Some tracks you couldn’t really do much with because increasing the gain created irreparable noise and hiss but I managed to find a comfortable level to blend with the more mid-to-high gain tracks but I was pretty pleased with the results considering it was an on-the-spot job.
I admit the moment this posted I downloaded and had to keep myself calm because I realized (like with Angels and Demons) that it needed to have a complete overall on the volume because, once again, it was too inconsistent. After another painful hour and a half my mix was done and I was so excited that I did something I hadn’t done in a long time: read a book while listening to this score and long after the book bored me I found myself captivated by the music that was both assaulting and nurturing my current state of mind for an hour later. I live in a rural area, we have bats and it was a conveniently windy night so the sound of nature mixed with the sounds of man was an entirely new and exciting experience all its own. I was hooked. I anxiously (but patiently) await the December Bluray release because with my digital projection setup I’ll get to re-live the theatrical experience of the trilogy again and again in the comfort of my own home. For what it is, it’s satisfactory.
Anyway,

No, "Fear will find you" was mixed into the end of the "Rooftop Fight" cue on the official release….. it’s completely separate in the recording sessions (seeing as they’re 2 completely different segments of the film).
In the sessions, "Rooftop Fight" ends abruptly, rather than including the Batman theme that was heard on the official release, then cuts straight to "Back To Batcave".
The file I uploaded was the "Rooftop Fight" version from the official release (with the Batman theme), flowing seamlessly into "Back To Batcave" cue from the sessions, so that it was more like the film version….
HOWEVER, Peeje has decided to delete my file for some reason 🙁

Imagine The Fire’s first 1.5 minutes were nowhere to be heard in film I think, so probably that’s why they aren’t in the recording sessions.

Mp3 Gain – first analize, than normalize
And this is a problem….that is why these Files in Lossless would be perfect as you can do anything to the lossless file….edit, adjust volumes……etc………
and I am not sure but I think ‘Chasing the Convoy’ is the same as the other track, just with more bits in the middle

Since you’re new to this, you have two choices. Either type in the password that you’ve downloaded… or just simply copy/paste the password.
Also…does the "It Was The Batman" track sound longer than it appears in "Rise" (minus the extended first and last few seconds)?

scorepranos- best regards.
Abraham Lincoln once said… well, you know.
Well, some of this is legitimate questions, depending on who the collector is. This set was (must have been) made off of a set of the recording sessions. So, there are the always present problems. People think that sessions are the ultimate for a score, but they are not. Many of the tracks are as written and performed, but NOT AS PRESENT IN THE FILM. A score gets tweaked and edited many times to fit a film. (See James Horner’s Aliens & Titanic). Since this set came from recordings of the music pre-edits, it will not include final film edits, loops and tracked in music.
Also again, with the sound, a boot of the sessions will usually have some issues. The sessions themselves are not the final mix, so a boot of them again will not likely sound as it did in-theater. On top of that, the source for this was likely -likely- not a mastered, mixed source, so will not sound as if it was.
Now, for some collectors this is disappointing, and they want the "right" tracks. Some of this discussion is merely to figure out what differences there are and if film edit versions of these tracks are available in any of the released sources. And then how to possibly edit accordingly. I don’t think any disrespect is meant or given there. Although there are some who simply do not, will not understand what sessions are, how they change with the film editing, and will never be quite satisfied with them, Just is. Requests for mirrors are simply because some host sites do not work for some people depending on location, IE access, whatever. Just asking for a mirror can’t hurt, I suppose. Either someone will put one up, or they won’t. But again I do not think disrespect is intended. The…passion used is just because of the nature of the post. Little Zimmer-fanites losing their ever lovin’ minds. :awsm: (said with all love :))
Personally I have yet to see the film or hear even the trailer music. I will grab the archive though and listen to it later. I just now saw Avengers, and now will spend time listening to that…
Thank You, scorepranos for yet another unexpected treat.
Sooooo….whatchya bringing us for Christmas?????
As for little bits being missing here and there it’s likely that those changes were made after this version was created.
Having said that it’s the best we have so far and it’s great to have it :o)

So, somewhere after the raw sessions, but before final editing? ‘Cause from what I read, there are a fair amount of changes from this in the final film.
But mainly I was responding to the question of why so many questions and requests. In theory my response remains the same.
So, an initial music mix, ready to be added to the fx and stuff, but then reediting occurred? But, after someone snagged a copy, so the copy is neither sessions nor final mix?

Exactly! thats why i like the Recording Sessions better on scores with alternates cues then the complete score
I don’t think it is a matter of complaints. It’s natural curiosity as to what this really is….nothing wrong with a good, friendly discussion…
Yeah i know
some music gaps are there in the movie, some arent
but I am pleased as punch about this either way
click on play : the files are not played but rewrote to the destination of your choice (you can also convert to another format, but for mp3 cd quality you must select mp3, 44,1khz 16bits stereo, bitrate is the same as input (if 256 in -> 256 out)

Possibly but I really don’t know. It has to have come from somewhere and maybe someone snagged an older version (might explain why it’s become available so soon after the release of the film). Tracks like ‘All Out War’ just sound like they come from a source that has been edited for the film though. Has anyone else noticed the edits in that track?
I’m really not complaining. I’m thrilled to have it and with the OST and bonus tracks in addition to this we probably have everything of note.
26. A Hero Can Be Anyone (Fan-Made Film Version) (http://www.mediafire.com/?zh8ck6qon3qkqvi)
This would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
Can you tell me please what the difference is about this version? has this all the film version cues from the movie?
It would fit between "No Ordinary Citizen" and "Imagine The Fire", it’s the sequence where Blake first gets the children off of the bus at the bridge and is warned not to cross. The cue can be found on the OST version "Imagine The Fire" as well as the HZ+ App under "Wayne Manor" BUT I think the score cue used in the film is an edit of those pieces. I am curious to find out why the piece doesn’t appear at all though, even if it were longer in Hans Zimmer’s original composition.
Me too, I wonder what kind of version this is.

oh i forgot to say thanks to that bonus from "thedarkknight62" 🙂
ah now i see it. so it’s the same suits i’ve guessed and posted here. but i thought the cat suite is over 15min long, that’s what I’ve asked myself if these suites would be something different then those from the app. but maybe it was just a typo with the time-length and these suits are indeed the ones from the app…
Keep up the great work
Keep up the great work
Thanks castas. And a very special thanks to "thedarkknight62" for adding the five additional suites.
This is one of the few times I have seen the complete score leaking before the bloody home release

The Dark Knight Rises Z+ for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-dark-knight-rises-z+/id542656871?mt=8)
I listened to the score in class today on my iPod, and people looked at me weird. One person knew what it was and nodded in approval, but still gave me a funny look. Kinda like, "You know how ridiculous you look listening to that shit while sitting in class, working on assignments, right?" Naturally if someone actually said that to me, I’d nod vigorously, and give ’em my best "I’M BATMAN" growl.
I know where they come from originally… I’m just sayin, the Cat suite and Bane suite on CD 3 are a little bit different than the Selina Kyle and Bane suite available from the app.
Down again -_-

I keep hitting the refresh button but nothing happens 😀 MUST.DOWNLOAD.THIS
i hope CD3 is legit… and not a fan edit… and the end credits are real and not a rip/recording
Nope, this one has a slightly different tracklist with more bonus than the other 😀
WB should release them in lossless… Oh wait… They probably never will :/
Has anyone been able to fix the volume from the first download? It’s nearly impossible to hear sometimes.
Dead link, please reup? Anyone?
WB should release them in lossless… Oh wait… They probably never will :/
They might release them… on the 25th Anniversary of Batman Begins, when half the world won’t know or even care about this trilogy, except for the few score fans, kinda like how they re-released a special 2-disc complete Superman: The Movie soundtrack.
EDIT:
Prologue is an absolutely stupid title. Why couldn’t the guys just call it Gotham’s Reckoning?!? That’s a far better name and I’m surprised none of the sessions actually have that in any of the tracknames.
yeah codyap09 managed to do a good job fixing it. he also done a good job of king kong when it was first leaked

well its called Prologue because it plays during the Prologue scene
if anything ‘Do you feel in Charge’ can be renamed ‘Gothams Reckoning’ because both lines are said by Bane in the scene that cue comes from
(though ‘do you feel in charge?’ is a far more awesome line IMO)

Evidently, it’s the ultimate complete score. The first two discs are from the film while the third disc contains suites and trailer musics.
Enjoy!
Thanks 🙂 and i know this will sound ungrateful, but… what’s the difference between this back cover and the one you posted earlier? The text is still a bit unclear and the sizes just differ by 4 kb (back cover). The covers themselves look great.
The first one was at 300dpi, the second version was 500dpi. That should have resulted in a clearer picture. In either case, here’s the highest-res I have, along with the rest of the files for complete custom set. Enjoy!
Well, everything I’ve posted is at least 300dpi, and what is online is the best I have. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to meet your expectations in terms of resolution, but I hope you can still use some of it.
It’s OK. You’ve done your very best.
The covers are 96dpi actually, not 300dpi/500dpi. I’ve checked it already.

… Well, maybe not on the internet.
I believe it’s on the second disc, tracks 19 and 20.
Also, I want so badly the complete scores for BB and TDK everyone’s talking about. Where can I get it?? Someone please help!!

can anyone answer this please i think its waste of time to download all the others if this one have everything?
that is because it is mixed with several cues. it is within a mix called ‘a hero can be anyone-rise’.
and for ‘bombers on ibiza’…….i dont think anyone is interested in having that track part of the complete score matey. it is a good track on its own rights but not with this.

OK, cool. I’ve seen another soundtrack listing elsewhere, so I was a little confused as to whether this was the real deal – but i’m glad to hear it is! 🙂 I realise that that’s basically the first two discs of this anyway.
Not really too concerned by the lack of ‘Bombers Over Ibiza’, already have it anyway.
No, there’s no music including Imagine the fire (original disc) !
thanks in advance 🙂
Amazing score, thank you!
None of those download links work though 🙁
are available already.

One thing though, will the end credits from the sessions somehow make it online in high quality? The best there is at the moment is from a Chinese bootleg…

For now, I got bored and changed the art of my TDKR soundtrack.
…
No Deluxe/Remastered Complete thing will be made by a sound purist about it, and certainly not by Sonic whom I know well outside this fanboys world. Thing is that a few themes and cues have been scored for this soundtrack and they have been spread into many alternate mixes or edits (not the same thing, much people are confused with those terms) to be used at will. If you gather the good stuff it won’t run two CDs of 60/70min, and certainly not 3CDs. So again, no fanboys will be pleased with a well thought release around here, even though and despite the shrinked length would leave it more or less complete.
Oh, and btw… There’s no recording sessions out there of any Batman scores. TDK is the pure film mix, BB is a rough mix leaked from RCP, and this TDKR maybe is incomplete film mix, not sure. And you would be disappointed if you caught some so called sessions: they would last no more than 20 min for each score. Only the orchestral part needs sessions. Even the brass section you have on the train fight or such cues are sampled and they are noted on the original cue sheets as FX’s !… It doesn’t need session to be overlayed to the music but programming then. Understand especially Mel Wesson’s work on these scores and you’ll figure much more than ever how the hell they thought the whole thing, and what is the material you have, like his original blueprints we have in a couple of cases in the BB uncomplete rough leak. Once you get his sound librairy, you can complete a LOT of things.
Cheers 😉
I’ve always thought Zimmer, Newton Howard & gang have recorded the orchestra and then Mel Wesson/Lorne Balfe have added the synths and effects later on.
Also there are two awful loud percussions, one in "Batman arrives" and the cue before it that are from the blueprint and are to be absolutely removed (wich requests some artistry but perfectly realisable).
It baffles me that among all these talks from great specialists over this site since years nobody ever noticed/mentionned that everything is available for BB though a bit piece by piece, and perfectly remixable. But you’ d better be good at matching up the sources. I mean I’m not a fan, but I’ve been able to find out everything I was searching for here or there in the least detail … An exemple: doesn’t a part of TDK’s "Explosion Aftermath" sound familiar somewhere (watch BB) ?… Note that I had no idea myself when I shared something related, and that’s why a certain (pretented) Al Clay has pointed out my so called "most complete" mixes were incomplete, no matter his personal behaviour. He was right about one other thing though: "you fans shoot the shit !". Errrmm…
… Anyway, I must say I somehow prefer a non-complete album form of it. Only the complete Arkham suite mix really worths to be added.
As for Lorne Balfe, I do think he worked later on on this as Mel Wesson only was in charge of the blueprint for BB under Zimmer’s supervision, after his own say.
Edit: But TDKR… It’s "too" complete, exploded and repeated… Wich doesn’t really makes what I call a complete listening experience. Maybe rather figure out "original score"/scoring/real cues, and not made up ones. Same goes for TDK besides, but less obviously, or overtweaked (like displacing orchestra’s stereo image to make it sound like a new recording, mwhaha !… They scored so few real new stuff for it. And some spoke of an award ! lol.

Hopefuly you might take my two posts above as useful parenthesis, no more no less. Case closed.
You build your own world.

Correction, you’re working on isolating the music from the speech and sfx from the BluRay. An isolated score is something else: A separate audio track on the disc that contains nothing else but the music and sometimes the composer’s commentaries. There’s a wide difference since isolated scores doesn’t have any speech or sfx. And none of the Dark Knight BluRays have an isolated score track.
Well, I am working on an actual separate isolated score track for the Blu-ray using the existing complete score and the OST, not just isolating the music from the SFX. Something like what JHFan did for Begins (Thread 90563) and TDK (Thread 92454), but as a separate audio track. I apologise if you misunderstood my original post.
If that is true, then i would certainly be interested in knowing where you found a BluRay with an isolated score to that film since i collect DVDs and BluRays with isolated scores 🙂 as far as i know there is no such bluray, but boy, do i hope i’m wrong.
Or am i misunderstanding you again? You are using the complete score and the OST to produce an isolated score track? I don’t see why anyone would do that unless you produce DVDs and BluRays. What exactly are you using the BluRay for?
And don’t get me wrong, i just want to get this correct since my heart skipped one beat when you said it had an isolated score 😉
Edit: Or are you using the BluRay to try and put all the pieces from the complete score and the OST in their correct places and their correct lengths?
^^ Spot on. Just doing it for…personal enjoyment, I guess? 😛 I thought it would be cool have an actual isolated score track for the film. Using the Blu-ray to make sure the tracks are all lined up/in sync to the film. I’ll upload it so anyone can add it to their existing rips of the Blu-ray without any problems. Like JHFan said when he did a similar thing a while back with Begins/TDK, "a better in-context listening experience".
Better thank the initial ones.
Wow, what a forum!
Ah 🙂 then i understand. You are MAKING an isolated score track for the film. *small sigh of disappointment* 😉 i truly was hoping someone had found a bluray with an actual isolated track. Well, this is the next best thing. Looking forward to it 🙂
Right now I’m working on "The Amazing Spider-Man".
TDKR is going to be difficult because of all the replacements in the score that used bits and pieces from the first two films literally cut and pasted into this film’s score. To use this complete score verbatim wouldn’t work for that reason. It’ll be a much bigger challenge but that’s what makes it fun to do and the end result is just as much fun to listen AND watch.

Agreed 🙂 Got as far as that Batman vs. Police sequence…
Useless.

Please excuse the horrible photoshopping of the IMAX camera…
Also I am working on an isolated score track using the complete score and the Blu-ray.
I don’t even know where the IMAX camera is.
Anyway, sick covers dude, if possible, can you please tell me what fonts you used for the cover?

Thank you! 😀
Just a minor correction: the slate number for this cue is 2M13/14.

Thanks!

He changed the names of the tracks so he knew it was his when it was traded. Eventually it found it’s way back to him, and that’s why it was posted. I have the complete proper list.
It was interesting, but not the best of the films, for me anyway, and not the best of these scores either. I would like a rip of the end credits though. Just so I have them. Is this it then, for this set of Bat-films? Anyone think that they may "reboot" and do others or what. Curious…
I’d like the end credits as well. It sounds like a mix of "6m44 Without A Rope" and "The End", the iTunes bonus track. At least, that’s what I heard. I’d also like a film-edit of "Rise", which consists of "8m57 Sacrifice", "8m58a It Was The Batman", "8m58b No Stone Unturned" & "8m59 Fernet-Branca"
I’d like the end credits as well.
So neither of you saw my thread where I posted a WAV of the end credits downmixed from 5.1 to stereo, in which that (French?) guy Arial kept going on and on making incorrect assumptions about how I altered the sound of it?
Guess not.
Ya….Arial gets like that. *Waits for a response from Arial*
Guess not.
Nah. Was that in a recent thread…?
I made one just for it, yes. I didn’t post it into one of the existing threads.
Caviezel can’t take a break from Person Of Interest to play Batman, because that’s exactly who he is on Person Of Interest.
That’s no coincidence considering the show was created by Jonathan Nolan, brother of Christopher, co-writer of all three films (uncredited for "Begins")
…..and what is this in reference to?
Person of Interest, me thinks.
Besides the core idea that Finch built a super computer than spies on everyone and can calculate who will commit a violent act in the future (Hello, Minority Report) is one that plays into our society’s paranoia about surveillance. Plus its a really entertaining show.
Yes, on threads like this one (Thread 122064).
Mr. Finch: "Mr. Reese, you know I don’t like guns."
Mr. Reese: "Neither do I Harold. But if someone’s going to have guns, I’d rather it be me."
Wry humor indeed.
Thanks in advance.

Worked for me. Thank you very much! I’ve been trying to get this score for a while now!
I can’t remember when, but I think somebody posted their own mix/edit of the film version back in August or September. But I have no clue which thread it is buried in…
Well the edits are not very good!
The edit only include trailer music album edits and such stuff, so I would listen to this version of TDKR!
The link doesn’t work but I think there’s a re-upload somewhere in the thread!

Has anybody tried doing the Selina Kyle overlays from the film for ‘Selina Finds Dagget’ and ‘A Hero Can Be Anyone’?
Again, so much thanks for making the film versions of these cues!!!!!
A Hero Can Be Anyone / Rise! (Film Version)
I just use GoldWave for basic editing; I have Sony Vegas but it’s a power-hungry program… it drains my RAM, slows down my comp and is very hard to work with. So unless I’m doing a remix/mashup experiment, I only use GoldWave. It’s a real life-saver.
If GoldWave supported multi-channel audio (3 channels and higher), I wouldn’t need Audacity.
You mean the Complete 3-Disc score that TOMANDANDY posted?
That’s just scorepranos’ sessions and Disc 3 is source music (similar trailed classical pieces) DARTH and most of us on his thread gatheredtogether.
TDKR is far from complete; we’re missing a lot of film mixes that Nolan changed in the final print (like Risen From Darkness, Chasing The Convoy East, Imagine The Fire [the album version], the Origins Z+ Suites, etc).
I’m led to believe that scorepranos was not allowed to release those publicly, like how the BB/TDK sessions were released only via PM initially (and probably still are).
I mean the release from scorepranos in the initial post of this thread.
That’s just scorepranos’ sessions
What do you mean with that?
I thought this release is the complete music used in the final movie (the music after post-production)? It’s not labeled "Recording Session". If this were the recording sessions than there would be alternate takes included, or?

if this is true than the initial release was mislabeled because the initial release from scorepranos was not "complete" (but why is it labeled "complete" (doesn’t make any sense))?

I apologise if my previous post didn’t make sense.
1. scorepranos leaked whatever sessions of TDKR he had. Regardless, they are recording sessions. Whether or not they are complete, we don’t know.
2. The only difference between what scorepranos has posted here and the other TDKR flying around is that 3rd custom disc of all content from the Origins Z+ App, the chant version of Without A Rope and a couple of classical pieces.
3. It doesn’t make any sense at all. You’re right. Even I’ve been confused at times as to whether everything I have from TDKR is official, expanded or complete.
I found this randomly… it’s The Dark Knight Rises For Your Consideration… which has been sold. I hope the receiver will upload this fine piece of art onto here if he/she feels can possibly do…

@The Scoreguy: That list you’re looking for, they’re all here. I’m not sure of Final Destination, Zombie Island or The Island is here. But I downloaded the others at random times. All were lossless when I get them.
Only if it’s ripped from the movie full of effects, or a fan edit.
That scene is a mixture of ‘Batmobile Chase’ and ‘Backup’ from Begins, and chunks of an as of now unheard alternate of ‘Batman Chased’ from Rises, the cue meant to be here.
Since the cue was so obviously piss-poor in its performance (it just plain stinks compared to the previous scores) the film editors wisely tracked in similar music to achieve the same idea.
The same music heard in Begins was far superior so it made perfect sense that they just replaced the cheaper rendition of it made for Rises.
3m20 Batman Chased

Batman Chased [Movie Mix] (http://www.packupload.com/C2WHH2GTTAZ)
Sucks it’s not. That’s one of the best pieces of music from the film and from the entire Nolan trilogy itself.
I appreciate you taking the task to remake it and post it. But generally speaking, not a fan of remakes of anything which makes me very picky about them. I was very disappointed with the Power Rangers remake album. There’s a prime example of why I hate them. The remakes IMO can’t be compared to the originals. I’ll get it anyway and see how it sounds. Thanks 🙂
Update: Download finished. Excellent work! 3:01 – 3:30 is my favorite part of the track as well as in the movie itself during that whole scene.

I’m going to rework that one bit (before Catwoman’s theme kicks in) if I find a proper sample… listening to the abrupt fade just kills the song for me; but like I said, temporary settlement till the real deal comes out…

Whats wrong with the one from the complete score?
2. DKR 1m1 Prologue (5:18)
2. DKR 1m1 Prologue (5:18)
Nobody said there was a problem with the original, I’m just talking about a cover version that actually sounds accurate.
I assumed you meant the actual full length suites that weren’t included in the release but they were the same ones as originally posted.
These are the ones i mean on this list: Hans-Zimmer.com – The Dark Knight Rises (Complete Score) (http://www.hans-zimmer.com/index.php?rub=disco&id=1115)
Are these available yet at all?

Nobody have "Unofficial" tdk complete score flac version?
While on the subject, which programs do you guys use after you have the 5.1 rips?
I wanted to make the film version of Batman Chased.
I wanted to make the film version of Batman Chased.
1. So no one ever owns movies anymore? I have the film on Blu-ray, but I’m just not interested in putting up the 5.1 DTS Master Audio track from it. Not much point considering how effects-heavy the mix is.
2. You can export anything in 5.1 (or 6.1, or 7.1, or any configuration) in Audacity. I use Audacity every day.
All you have to do is go to the Preferences menu, then go to Import / Export, and select "custom mix".
You have yours set to ‘Always mix down to stereo or mono’.
Easy fix and you’re good to go.
Considering that "Batman Chased" sounds like dog shit, I’m sure everyone and their dog who has listened to that cue wants to make a film version that replaces most of the music with pieces from the other scores because of how amateurish and cheap the actual cue is.

I’l try that… I like the first 20 seconds of Batman Chased; the rest of it was just a mediocre re-hash of Molossus and Backup… JNH not working on this movie probably cost Hans the Oscar nom…
… For a three times reused score ?!! Or the 20 min of new music ? Mwhaha !!!
Such a small world you live in my friend.
Such a small world you live in my friend.
JNH came up with some brilliant stuff for Harvey Dent… I know for a fact that he didn’t want to destroy the relationship HZ and Nolan built during Inception, but if he were to come back for TDKR, he would’ve done much better than Hans did as solo composer; hell, Hans wasn’t the only composer for this… wasn’t Lorne Balfe, Junkie XL and 2 other guys involved?
I wanted to make the film version of Batman Chased.
Hey, I ripped only the batman chased part from my DVD. 5.1 AC3 file is about 27MB. If you’re interested send me a PM.
I’d love for you to send it to me!
Jasha Klebe & Andrew Kawczynski
Of all three scores, this one was the least deserving of any kind of award recognition by such a wide margin it can’t even be measured. The whole score was a cheesy, amateur version of the first two scores which is why the first two scores are all over the film’s final mix. They swapped out the poor performances of this score for the superior versions of the first two.
Thanks for that!

Yeah I guess you’re right…
Now that’s not to say that the music was bad. It’s not. It’s that the execution of it was bad. Think of all those re-recordings out there of various film scores.
Notice how piss-poor most of them are compared to the original scores. Same thing really. The music was fine, the performances weren’t.
It’s as if all the attention was paid to the Bane and Selina Kyle music (which sounds fine, though they don’t have anything that came before to compare / contrast) but the rest was given little attention because it was material from the first two.
this one?

PM please? Thanks
I have The Ultra Complete Score. The problem is I’m unable to find the definitive "movie version" of Risen From Darkness/Batman Chased in both the editions.I had the Complete Score but deleted it as soon as The Ultra Complete Score became available. So I’m not aware if the one in the complete score track has been updated or not. The Ultra Complete Score has the one that was released as a bonus track which isn’t the movie version. I’ll be happy if you could help me with that.

i like it! but i agree with simz at the 2:10 minute mark. but nothing that cannot be fixed 🙂
another great attempt! there seems to be an overlap of editing that is slight off though between 2:25 and 3:35. again, nothing that cannot be fixed.

See now those are bogus unless there’s tracks between Imagine the Fire and Chasing the Convoy East, which I don’t think there are. But that’s just me
Those are definitely in the film, and that’s indeed how they sound. It is just you. 😉
if they’re bogus… that’s one masterful friggin editing job. Watching this scene now and this is a verbatim film mix.
Bingo.

Because this tracklist came out Garage’s asshole
God dammit. I don’t know how much more of this my body can take.
God dammit. I don’t know how much more of this my body can take.
For realz, Cheesy? "The End" is an iTunes bonus track. And 7m57-59 has been edited together, most likely to make the film mix of the OST track "Rise". Sessions do not do that. I know cues 57, 58 & 59 are separated as well, but together? They wouldn’t be included
Plus it doesn’t make any sense that these two tracks would be on the studio masters because they were post-production edits that weren’t part of the score itself. Hybrid even said that. They weren’t on the sheets this way, either.
There he is
Alright alright we’re back. I’m on board with "shite until damn convincingly proven otherwise." So if anyone needs me I’ll just be in my lawn chair waiting for the rest of Garage’s stash to get raided.
He says a lot of shit. Remember back when that jackass David posted the tracklist for the complete score andHybrid was all "Nope! Fake, fake fake!!" and It turned out it was legit. But still, yeah, this thing is bogus
Also (allow me to reiterate what I said before): those two tracks we heard are exact film mixes of the score (unless someone is THAT GOOD at making such a fan-made edit).
A) This is legit
B) This is the work of a psychopath with no time on his/her hands.
My instincts go with A. Just playing the more favorable odds here…
I guess he’s a Belieber now
on the contrary

For fan edits, the two tracks were exceptional. For something that supposedly came from the studio masters, there is a lot of shittiness.
Just go through them really closely. Listen to the reverb at the end of 7m54B. I’ve never heard a sound like that come out of the remote control library.
As for 7m54A, the whole first half just sounds kind of warped, like it’s a DVD rip mixed with some other source. Plus that’s a fucking weird transition at 0:24.
But, as I said, the existing sessions have some pretty weird shit, too. If someone had given me "Stock Exchange" or "All Out War" last year passing them up as sessions tracks out of context I’d tell them to go fuck off.
Yeah, everything not only this tracklist, as i know this is not came from RCP..oh god, let is the greatest days of fake sessions came back, don’t waste your time guys ..

Considering how much of the score was replaced (don’t any of you know anything about how shitty post-production music edits can be?) it’s really not a stretch to assume they are legitimate, just as it’s not a stretch to assume they aren’t.
For instance, James Horner’s edits for the Cameron films.
For a thread lacking any real intelligent train of thought, glad to have some kind of ‘voice of reason’ present.

Indeed. Horner (and I’m assuming Zimmer) along with other composers don’t edit their own music for their films. Instead they can only stand back and let the sound editors do the job with the director’s instructions. They don’t give a shit if the edits have any real musical flow, which is why if the composers did have a say, they would either make the edits musical and natural, or they would rewrite / re-record the music to fit the changes which is how we end up with alternates, though a lot of the time even those don’t make it into the film intact.
A good Zimmer example is the Tumbler chase. It’s post-edited in Batman Begins and neither session version sounds like it much. It’s not even easy to recreate, though a long time ago Arial made a good attempt.
The Dark Knight Rises [Complete Film Score] 1-17 Batman Chased – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02JdKmZU9sY)
Here’s another version by the same guy, unfortunately it has SFX, but it’s slightly closer.
Anyways, this is very cool to know it exists for sure!!
And thank you for even posting the two tracks!!!
Are you talking about:
a.) the trailer with alternate Bane-like theme?
b.) in the set of which the list I posted?
I think they’re fake, and so do other people. Yet there are even more people who think it’s legit. It’s entirely up to you to decide if they are real or fake. I’ll say this – I’m not going to pursue something that I truly know does not exist. That is all
a.) the trailer with alternate Bane-like theme?
b.) in the set of which the list I posted?
a and b.) Did you post the official version of that or just a rip/edit?
In the film, during that sequence, you do hear a "Like A Dog Chasing Cars" variation playing.
Whether or not these are official, they are pretty damn near sounding like they came from the recording sessions. Impressive edits, nonetheless. I mean they sound just like they do in the film, if not a tiny bit different.
The only thing I ever posted was that tracklist
Hell, you ain’t the only one…

I know some themes from TDK are used in TDKR….of course…but here, with this track, this is not just variations from "Like A Dog Chasing Car"….IT IS "Like A Dog Chasing Cars"… Just listen to it again….You’ll notice that too
I believe that what we have right now is the complete score which was meant for use in the movie in the pre-production phase.
Here’s my theory. I believe that some of the tracks within that 116-song list could actually be legitimate, considering how much post-editing there was for the film, especially with Batman Chased & Chasing The Convoy East/A Hero Can Be Anyone.
[IIRC, apparently Nicholas Hooper (who did Harry Potter 5, I think?) recorded about 6-7 hours of music for the movie before post-production?]
Anyway. If this is truly legit, I want it. I want it all! More Batman music from Nolan’s trilogy that leaks out, the better.
Which is exactly what you hear in the film. That is why labeling these as fake is too premature. It doesn’t sound fake, it sounds like the post-edit from the final mix of the score in the film. This film replaced so many bits and pieces of its score with pieces from the first two (notice this stupid debate is going in circles now?) so of course it’s going to sound edited and even ‘fake’, because that’s what the final score in the film is.
People want the film versions of this music. People don’t want fake edits of the film versions of this music.
Well….they’re the same damn thing. The film versions ARE edits. All that is in question here is are these the post-edits that have shown up here done by the film’s sound mixers, or are they recreations done by fans. For those recent uploaded cues, I say it’s the former because they do sound exactly like what is in the film.
Like NCFirebolt, I also want the post-edited film version of the score, because the original unedited versions just plain suck. "Batman Chased" is one of the crappiest cues I’ve heard in a long time, all because the performance of it is just piss-poor and that’s why everyone’s clamoring for the edited film version and making so many attempts to recreate it. Obviously the film’s editors were aware of how shitty the original recorded score for those cues sounded so they resorted to making edited approximations of the same music using cues from the first two films.

Yes he recorded approximately 5 Hours. Id like a massive leak of that one like Thin Red Line. because the OST was bad.
What is the scene from TDKR where we can hear exactly part(s) from "Like A Dog Chasing Car" ?

First, the track "Like a Dog Chasing Cars" is not the title of the cue. It’s called "New Batman Theme" and is different than the cue used TDK. The cue used in RISES was "Always a Catch" from TDK. "Always a Catch" is the shorter film version of the ‘New Batman Theme’ piece of music.
In RISES it plays during the final chase between Selina, Batman flying overhead and the Tumbler / truck convoy. It is heard just before that ‘Chasing The Convoy East’ cue. In the film there’s a string overlay not heard in ‘Always a Catch’. That same overlay is heard in the uploaded cue. It’s real.
In TDK it plays during Batman and Gordon’s argument over how to deal with the hostages across the street in the other building, then Batman jumps off the roof to deal with it himself.

Thanks for this information ! 😉

Wait. Wasn’t that Introduce A Little Anarchy/Pruitt Building from the sessions?
That came immediately afterward when Batman removed Mike Engel’s clown mask and the SWAT team got ready to move in.
Oh ok. They did play an alternate to a portion of "Like A Dog Chasing Cars" (which turned out to be "Always A Catch" from the FYC/Sessions) during the convoy chase scene.
1. The Logo obviously sounds different.
2. The first 10 seconds of The Truth About Harvey Dent B sounds like a bad mix, but not counting it out just yet.
3. All different versions of For Old Times’ Sake sounds legit.
4. Batman Chased, one of those versions sounds like the final mix, but it’s scattered through those 4 files.
Is this real or is it just some random edit?
Just had a listen to the source music from Miranda’s fundraiser and it’s fine. I always thought it was Roses From The South by Johann Strauss Jr, but I could be wrong. I only watched TDKR once in the theatre and that’s it.
I’d have to wait for someone like codyap, DAK, JHFan or MasterZ or all of them to all tell me the entire 116-track post is a fake.
Why so?
Also if it’s oh so fake, then why take the time to upload it at all?
Bit confusing, know what I mean?
EDIT:
Downloaded part 1 (part 2 is still downloading) and while 3M20 v9.05 is the film edit version, it’s a damn good approximation but it’s missing that same slower buildup when Batman jumps off the truck trailer ramp to escape the police. Also parts of the cue go into an almost monaural effect (there’s still some stereo aspect to it, it’s not entirely mono) during the chase segments which were in between the quieter Selina / safe cracking music. It’s an older, easy method of filtering out sound effects, specifically anything placed in the center of the mix. It’s often how dialogue-free edits of songs can be made.
That’s the only music I’ve played so far as a way of testing it.

Who has ever said that New Transfig was Aurora ?
Surprisingly the lengths are quite similar indeed, but…
I was only talking about the New Transfiguration version, which basically is an 8 min segment of the New Hero version but in steroid mode, faster tempo (same as in Chasing The Convoy East) & percs added.

It’s almost like when your favorite movie is butchered to no end on TV and by the time it’s become a staple on FX or TNT, it’s no longer your favorite movie. Fortunately for me, that hasn’t and most likely will never happen. But you know what I mean
Hello all.I thought I’d contribute to our great cause by finally putting "The Dark Knight Rises" Complete Score on the torrents. That way, no matter how many times the record company Nazis keep taking down our links, it will always be out there for people to get. thanks to Scorepranos for the original upload,I’m just trying to keep as many active seeds or links out there as possible so people don’t have to keep asking for re-ups. Taker care everyone. I’ll be uploading a great deal of rare and out of print soundtracks to my my Kickasstorrents account in the coming weeks and months,so keep a lookout. Strength and Honor….
Praise to you sir

So far,I’ve only uploaded 3 score to it since I’m new: the complete score to "The Dark Knight Rises",The Complete Score to "Iron Man" and my "Man Of Steel" Ultimate Torrent that I put both Standard and Deluxe versions of the score in that I ripped personally from my storebought cd’s.
I just wonder where do all these bootleg recording sessions/expanded scores come about. Where is the source of all of these bootlegs?
Thank you,NCFirebolt. that’s all I wanted to know the other day.
Someone mentioned that TDK had a listening party during pre-screenings for cast and crew. Which is why it took so long for TDK’s and longer for BB’s scores to release.
The ones we get for movies these days are usually bootlegged unless a company like La-La-Land officially releases them, like they did for X2 (X-Men United).
However, Disney/Pixar Cast and Crew CDs are official and do exist, but it doesn’t increase the probability of the general public getting their hands on them that quickly and uploading them for the masses.
I’ve started hosting soundtracks on the torrents just recently, and you’re more than welcome to get any of them you want, since I leave my little netbook that I seed them from on all the time. If you have any requests, please feel free to ask me and if I have them I’ll post them first ahead of any others I have planned.
Thanks for hosting those torrents, jedi.

My pleasure Firebolt.I’ve been getting stuff here for a long time,I feel like I have a lot of giving back to do. I look forward to "Inception"!
Thank you Firebolt,I REALLY look forward to it.

I’m downloading one of the parts to check it out, but that is a really long tracklist…
And by the way, there’s a deluxe edition of Inception on the Shrine right now so if you wanna grab it, jedi, do it within the next 48 hours.
I’m just trying to stay ahead of the curve of deleted, blocked or taken down links by posting this. his links are STILL working,so please feel free to get them from there. But, in the event they are taken down,(one of my friends on here said that the links with most activity tend to get killed) everyone is welcome to get it from my torrent, which I will be seeding indefinitely. I’m not trying to steal anyone’s credit.I just think that the more active links there are out there, the more people can get this great music.I’ve run into many a time that I’ve tried to get a rare/complete/out of print score and all the links are dead or taken down and I couldn’t get it.So whenever I actually get one,I post it on the torrents which are impossible to take down, and post a link in here for everyone to use. The more hooks in the water, the better the chances for a bite. So take care everyone.Maybe I’ll need help, and somebody on here will sometime. Strength and Honor to you all.

Any plans on when will it be released?
OMG is right! cody already beat me to it! And besides, he’s fixed up the gaps and volume fluctuations so his version is better than the one I originally had! (yeah, I deleted the old version before cody’s Deluxe release)
