When I watched it I had rented it on blu-ray from Blockbuster.

The US Bluray is craptastic nonsense with crappy type needlessly compressed and brightened video and audio. Sadly it is the only BD of the film that currently exists in any region. Which sucks to say the least. I am hoping Criterion gets a go of it some day.
