When I was in college and this was first released, it received constant airplay on the local classical station. It remains THE FINEST recording of its kind. If you like your Christmas haunting; the dark chapel lit by torches and sputtering candles; braziers waving incense into the cold air; the echo of voices chanting in procession; and Chaucer readings, 10th century Saxon readings, 14th century English readings along with a couple of ancient prophecies.
