Doesn`t it use CD-Audio? As for Virtua Striker 2 it`s understandable because sequenced music is utilized there.

I just found out that it is. I'm playing the music through VLC Media Player. I don't know how to rip it with VLC at the moment.

Note: I apologize about the little pops in the tracks. It was the emulator(nullDC)I was using to record the music. I don't know why the audio pops when using the emulator. I'd do a rip to get the raw tracks, but I can't figure out how with this one in particular. Same with Virtua Striker 2 for the Dreamcast.

You're using an emulator which the disc wasn't designed for and you're wondering why you're getting pops. Try playing it on a Dreamcast and recording via Line-In. As long as you do it right, it will still sound the same as if you recorded it digitally via an emulator.

I used a rom image of the game, not the actual disc since I don't have the game. It was the emulator its self. Same thing with the Virtua Striker 2 rom. The popping would occur on that, too.

I can just mount it and play the music through VLC Media Player and record it with audacity.

I found out the popping would occur if the buffer size was set lower than 4096. I put it on 4096 and that fixed the problem.

I also found a rip of the game at emuparadise (http://www.emuparadise.me/music/dsf/Flag_to_Flag_%5BSuper_Speed_Racing%5D_%281999%29%2 8Zoom%29%28Sega%29%5BStreams%5D/1669), which is much better than my rip.

Credit goes to whoever ripped them, and emuparadise for providing it.

I only take credit for giving the tracks proper names and putting it on mediafire for better download speed.
