NAGURU ONNA (TV score by Michiru Oshima) (lossless) (FLAC)
Usually translated as "Woman Striking A Blow," the main character in this 1998 Japanese TV series is fired from her job and in desperation accepts work in a boxing gym where she eventually becomes the trainer for a man she intensely dislikes. Yet, over time...
For this drama/romance, Oshima provided a another eclectic score with tender ballads, some jaunty Gershwin-esque tracks, even a bossa nova. Nothing harsh or heavy.
Hard to find commercial release on Sony Records #SRCL 4441.
17 tracks totaling 40 minutes.
Disc was ripped to FLAC using XLD.
