For those of you who are as into fighting games as I am, what's your favorite fighting franchise.

Despite the face that it's most famous for the bouncing boobies, I am a huge DOA fan. It's so freaking smooth, I love the character design, and I've never gotten tired of playing any of them. The fact that I OWN at DOA doesn't hurt either.

Soul Calibur definately
I also love the Virtua Fighter games, for the technical fighting.

Never liked DOA much because it's just too much button mashing, and not enough techinique. Somebody could play the game for years, then my sister could pick up the controller, bash a few buttons, and still beat him.

I perfer 2D fighters over 3D fighters. Not because of the unrealism of 2D fighters but 3D fighters are mostly button mashing fun (except for Virtua Fighter... which is the god of real 3D fighting in my opinion.

As for a favored 2D fighter... I enjoy most of "The King of Fighters" games followed by Capcom vs SNK. I dislike Marval vs Capcom.. but it doesn't stop me from playing it once in awhile.

Used to be Tekken, because it was fun with friends, but that series has been going down the crapper lately. At the moment, Soul Calibur. It's fun... But not as great as Tekken used to be. Eh. :B

Samurai Showdown II. At the club I go to, they have the arcade machine. I love this game.

My fave now is Soul Calibur II. I'm still a huge Street Fighter fan though. I also like DOA.

Logicallly....

Soul Calibur. I mean its probably the most brilliant fighting game on the market.

However...my heart and head don't match this time as they usually do. :(

Personally...

Mortal Kombat.

Its been around forever, had a few movies made, and I actually was drawn to its dark and sinister story in MK: Sub-Zero mythologies.

I play Tekken and Soul Calibur loads. My fave is Marvel Versus Capcom 2 though. Im the daddy at that. Anyone else like it? What team do you use? Im always Omega Red, Sentinel and Shuma Gorath. An odd team indeed...

James and I have wasted far too much of our time playing Soul Calibur 2. The game is smooth, addictive, has challenges and is always good for much fun in 2 player team battle mode. We just love it. It's great. :)

Back in my school days, Tekken 2 was the game though. An awesome game which had three of us going "we could easily beat you" to each other, but never, ever fighting to find out who WAS the best out of the three of us.

I'm a huge Tekken series fan. I always aimed for 100 in Survival mode. My highest is 45. :/

I've become addicted to the likes of Marvel vs Capcom 2.

Street Fighter II owns all your asses.

I mostly play the Tekken series myself, I just find it's really quite accurate, pretty smooth and combos look just amazing. Especially if you're either Steve or Hwoarang.

I admit one of my fav fighters, is Kasumi from the Dead of Alive series. Not only a great character to learn the moves of her and play the game with, she's also... quite nice looking... Especially in Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball!!!

Taki from Soulblade and the Soulcalibur games, Charlotte from Samurai Shodown and Mai Shiranui from the King of Fighters.

But then, let's not forget the best fighting game of all time...

PSYCHIC FORCE 2012!!!! BEST GAME EVER.... NOT!!!

Psychic Force 2012 was awesome. Don't make the fun.

Highest survival for tekken? Mine is about 79 on Tekken 2 with Hehatchi. I love tekken. In the daddy. None of my mates play me any more. Anyone like Marduk? I think hes the cheapest character ever. The running tackle/grab move is so easy and damaging. Kazuya or Jin (tekken 4 versions) are my faves.

Marduk is CHEAP!!! Go Felch_Master!! So is Paul phoenix!!! Lightning Fist Jin Kazama kicks @$$!!

I haven't really loved a fighting game since Mortal Kombat 3. But I did finish Tekken Tag Tournament with all the characters...it was disappointingly easy.

Capcom VS SNK is an awesome game also.
