The Metal Gear 25th Anniversary - Metal Gear Music Collection is a compilation album soundtrack planning to be released to celebrate the Metal Gear franchise's 25th anniversary.
The album was announced on Konami's official store KONAMISTYLE and is set to be released on August 22, 2012 (postponed from July 25, 2012 due to circumstances) for 3,150 Japanese yen under the catalogue number: GFCA321.

Similar to the previous soundtrack Metal Gear 20th Anniversary - Metal Gear Music Collection the soundtrack contains original and arranged medley songs from selected Metal Gear games. The games chosen specially for this soundtrack are Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Online and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

The soundtrack itself will contain 9 tracks that will feature over 30 different pieces of music, which include: 3 re-released tracks (tracks 1, 4, 8), 1 re-recorded track (track 2), 3 medley tracks (tracks 5, 6, 9) and 2 orchestra medley tracks performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra (tracks 3 and 7.)

A limited edition version of this soundtrack has also been announced. It will come inside a cardboard sleeve however, the track list will remain the same.

Yeah, but someone will beat me to it, probably. I'll only get my hands on the CD at the end of the year, when I'll travel to Japan.

Something occurred on my part, more specifically: a change of mind. Sorry, but I won't disrespect anybody, anymore, regardless of their status as people / labels / manufacturers / composers / etc... same goes for their work. So, you want the album? Try to buy it.

Bumping because the album has been out for a few days and I've yet to find anybody with a rip of the CD.

i'll be ordering the cd... i think i'll get it on a couple of weeks... shame there's no TAPPY theme in there i feel dirty buying a MGS cd without it... =(

well this piece of crap is here, at least there are a few decent mixed but i never tought that the 20th anniversary disc was bettaer than anything but finally this is what i might call the worst MGS disc right after MGS4 and MPW... it's here so expect upload for FLACK and MP3 320 kbps... also I'll omit the CAUTIONS AND ALERTS/heavens divide from MPW because is the same shit that I released from the HD edition bonus disc... just to save some space ok?

but here's the catch... I'll not upload this immediately.. sorry before that I was making a TRUE 25th compilation, some of the new tracks will be put there on a awesome 5 disc release i think... what do you think?

also is imperative if you burn this into a disc to put this track at the end so you will have a disc that sounds like metal gear

And youre right. Just two tracks save this soundtrack, but still is official MG25th, you know.
