Is it just my, but does anyone else think that it would be kool if square made another Ehrgeiz game similar to SVC with a wide variety of characters from each FF game. Probably looking something like the Bouncer... but just with a bunch of characters to choose from... or maybe a SVE (Square vs. Enix) game, of course it'd be more like Final Fantasy vs. Dragon Warrior... but that's not my question here... I'd just think that it would be kool if you could play as any of the main characters 7-12 and possibly they'd make like the 3D chracters from the FMV's of the remake PSgames. And again i'm talking outta my ass....

Do you think it would be kool if Square-Enix made an SVE or FVD game?

Ergheiz... Never played the first one, but heard some good things about it. It'll be interesting to see what they come out with.

SvC was crap though... Ehrgeiz was actually worth something for a bit. :O

But it would be a nice idea... some things might not fit. I could see this more of a fan game instead of an actual game.

I'd buy Square vs. Enix if was 2D, but I would never touch a 3D version.

How about a Square Vs. Enix game somthing like Marvel Vs. Capcom....that would be good

it's pretty much almost the same idea as SVC

No, SvC combined two of the greatest fighting game corporations (Sammy doesn't count at all because Sammy didn't develop Guilty Gear) and pit them in a battle that involves not-so-advanced fight system.

Ehrgeiz featured bonus characters (not combining games together) from Final Fantasy because Square can do that. The only things that make this a pairing is that Namco and Squaresoft worked on it (actually Namco and Dreamfactory, Squaresoft just released it on the PSX). It pitted original characters (meaning none that derived from Final Fantasy) against other original characters with Cloud/Tifa as bonus characters. THEN when it came out on the PSX, Sephiroth, Yuffie, Vincent and 2 other Original characters were introduced, making Ehrgeiz more of a Squaresoft game than what it originally was (A Namco 3D Fighting game to be paired with Tekken).

WHEW.......

For the longest time, I thought it would be cool as Hell if Square/Capcom made a game like that...Squaresoft VS Capcom....make it 2-D, and give it the fighting engine from CvS2 (Capcom VS SNK 2)...now THAT'D be a badass game. All sorts of Capcom characters like from the MM series and RE series...against FF characters. A lot of people probably don't like this idea...but screw you people. This idea would R00L. =B

Eeeh, the MvC engine is so bugged and glitched. I mean I really like it and all but exploits and glitches make the MvC engine unstable, especially with a lot of characters (see what happened to MvC2?)

Squaresoft vs. Crystal Dynamics. That way we could have the FF characters face off against Legacy of Kain, and other characters.

Hell, the Guardians and Kain, Raziel, and Vorador alone would make some cool characters in that kind of game. Plus the favorites from FF7-X. That would be awesome.

How about all the gaming corporations just get to gether and each company picks their best character (Square - Sephiroth, Konami - Solid Snake, Capcom - Ryu/Ken, Midway - Scorpion, EA Games - Madden . . . oh wait scratch that one . . . ect) And then they all fight to the death! I would be one giant splatter fest of fun!

How dare you mock M.vs.C2. Its wicked. Ehrgeiz was okay but didnt last me long. The characters were all a bit samey and the rpg bit was rubbish.
