I'm having the same trouble with the full rip, I can't even download the first part.

It seems Mediafire is now blocking multi-part archives, so I'm re-uploading them as independent archives. The new archives will include the English Virbank Gym performance, as well as the Japanese one.

Can you re-up the mp3 downloads of the Super Music Complete, too?

Yeesh, MediaFire's not being friendly today. I opened my e-mail to find nearly a dozen notices that strikes have been placed on my account for having split archives. I'm working hard to get everything re-uploaded as quickly as possible.

Yes; more like each part now contains x MB of files.

Also, battle tracks are back up.

A few tracks are still mistagged: the DLC tracks, Cave of Being, and Regi trio themes have missing or incorrect game tags.

Roxie is bassist in rock band, so her theme should be rocky. But it isn't rock, it sounds like crappy cheerleader pop. So horrible. English version is worse.
Also instrumental things on it is so poor. I hate this arrangement very much. Everything what was awesome in melody of Gym theme was destroyed here.

I recommend Lecri's FLAC rip, but if you can't convert it, there's an MP3 conversion in the top post of this thread.

It's part of the variable scoring in the game which parts are rid of when you defeat the trainers. Once you beat the Gym Leader for the first time, the BG music stops entirely. I think it restarts next time you go there, though.
Funny; over at Bulbagarden Forums (yes I'm a user there) a lot of people were hyped to hear "K-O-F-F-I-NG KOFFING!" as well as "S-M-O-G-O-N SMOGON!".
Yet we got "P-O-K-E-M-ON POK�MON!" instead. Presumably that was to cut down the time spent on that one song for the localisations, as Pok�mon is a universal word.

Still, what do you expect? They had to keep the original character's traits in there somewhere (the fact that Roxie is a bassist and the lead singer of the band) and in some form that was obvious...
And it was one song! One song! Unless we see a band like them again, I don't think we're going to find it very often heard by players. The only other vocals I can think of in the game trace themselves back to the Village Bridge variable scoring.

I'm personally looking forward to seeing what they come up with next for Gym music...by the time the next Generation comes out it'll most likely be on the 3DS - that begs the question of what would happen if lyrics were to be put in those games...

I am so sorry you're unable to enjoy such a wonderful vocal addition to a wonderful arrangement of a wonderful song. But hey, that's your problem.

I, for one, welcome the inclusion of more vocals interspersed into some songs. The sound team's trying something new, and I love 'em for that.

If anything, Go Ichinose (and the rest of the Game Freak sound team) deserves all the more praise.

I'd like that very much, but 3DS's music still hasn't been cracked. Hopefully Nintendo follows the releases soon with a Super Music Complete as excellent as the last couple. I can't wait to hear what the music is like! (I'm itching for the first gameplay trailer to include in-game music.)

well... it has been a long time since the last gamerip was started... any hopes for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? i've seen gamerips straight from the game and i hope you return back in doing a great job in these.
