I'm kind of curious to hear the differences between this and the original they release a couple years back, apparently there's a new encore.

Wonderful request! 2nd this, the encore is completely changed and there are various alterations in the suites.

Would be great if there was also a video version of the concert. I like watching the conductors work their magic.

Im also very curious what the improvements are in the arrangements and the encore. Also the recording/mixing quality which was already very good imo...

I also request this. I have read the interview with Thomas Boecker on SEMO and he said the mixing is the best so far as well as people will notice a difference in performance. I expect a definitive recording here. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

EDIT: Here is the website on Square-Enix Japan. It contains samples from the Tokyo CD and I must say that this edition will be worth every penny :).

Thanks for the link manzin98. Despite not being a gamer myself, i enjoyed a lot the tribute to Nobuo Uematsu concert with the same team of musicians that are involved here. And like that album, this should be another great way to discover more musical goodies!
