does anyone know where I can get the hammer, you see i have been looking for ages for it, and can't seem to find it anywhere, i've looked in the piggyback strategy guide but that didn't provide much help, can anyon help me?:erm:

You have to complete the Steallzio (sp?) sidequest and give that duck-girl all 13 coins. Then you get the Hammer as your reward for the 13th coin.

It's useless except it gives you like a half a minute extra scene in the ending (which has nothing to do with the storyline). But you can synth it at Hades for the Tin Armor, which is pretty good.

yeah i noticed that today when i reading about the things u could synth from hades, and it mentioned that u needed the hammer for more than one item that u can synth.. i think one might have been the robe of lords (which btw is SO not worth 10000 points in chocobo hot/cold.. i think they mustve forgotten the decimal there too lol).

yea so anyway, what happens in that scene? i beat the game with the hammer last time, and the strategy guide i was using told me that it lets u play blackjack at the end, but ive read everywhere else that u can do that regardless of owning the hammer or not. so i saw the scene without even realizing it.

You get an extra seen of beatrix and stiener if i think correctly....

And blackjack you do a cheat at the end of the final FMV and you play it...

You just get a little extra scene with Cinna in the end. Or at least that's all I noticed when I beat the game with the hammer. Anyhow, be sure to get the last stellazio coin after you've given the lady all of them- that's how you get the hammer.

There are two special items that give you extra scenes at the end of the game.
The Hammer is Cinna's weapon. You can get it when you find the 13th Stellazio, Ophiuchus. It gives you an extra ending scene where Marcus tries to borrow Cinna's Hammer. If you synthesize it you can't get another one and you dont get the extra scene. Keep it, you dont need the Tin Armour.
The second is God Save The Queen, Beatrix's weapon. This gives you another scene at the end with Beatrix and Steiner. You get it by synthesizing a Javelin and Silver Gloves on Disc 4. I hope this helps.

The opichius is the 13th Stellazio, and is found in the cave where Vivi's grandfather lived, in the same place youmfound the other one.

If you get the hammer you get an extra video scene at the end, during the play it is either when he is saying he will go back and wait for her or when they kill him

Yes, I got it, and it doesn't do crap. I thought you were supposed to get a different ending scene, but it was just the same for me... I was upset...highly dissapointed...

It was very dodgy, as in the official walkthrough, it said that when you get the 13th from quans dwelling you are rewarded with a weapon that will hammer away at your opponents. Thats a lie, or just an un humourous sarcastic comment.
