Well my first question would be this one
Is this space Jockey the same seen in alien 1? Because If I remember correctly this one has his trunk perforated by what would certainly be a chestbuster but in prometheus the last enginneer dies in the prometheus safety ship so it is not the same and this planet seems not to be the LV426 from alien.


What is this black substance ? why does it create to the one who blend his DNA with This an impressive strength and Anger , It is said to be some kind of massive destruction weapon and I think it made the engineers completely lost their minds and then following a massive fight between each others only one survived, the one seen in the end.

There are so many questions but here are the two big ones for me.
So what do you think?

Isn't it possible that it is the same planet? From what I remember, they only spent a few hours on LV426 in Alien, before they went back to the ship. Though it's weird how the weather could be... well nice down there, it was still inhabitale for humans.

As for the black substance, I have no idea on why it does what it do, but I think the Aliens used it somehow. I'm thinking, that maybe the pods were used by the aliens to lay those eggs where the face huggers evolve from? I'd say that, because the black substance does transform the rainworms into those alien worm thingies.

it is not LV426 but LV232 something like that , but anyway it is just a code , I can't remember but at the end does she leave with her little space ship or with the big ship of the engineers?
In that case there are two possibilities:
1) She leaves with her space ship and eventually bring the very first xenomorph to LV426 or somewhere else on the engineers' world.
2) She leaves with the big ship and the engineers after having tracked a detress signal find themselves trapped in lv232 and are destroyed by the first colony of aliens
Remember that the weather did not prevent the colons to settle on this planet in alien 2 , there is 60 years of diference and technologically speaking they have the possibilities to make it and by the way it seems that only the space ship was able to start this weather but it is just an idea.

in parallel the substance is made of very small things I did not catch what it is but some kind of parasite like the one drop in the husband's glass by the synthetic and then you get:
Parasite from black substance + Human who has sex with his girlfriend = new specie who would go out finally go out due to the reproductive system of the female.
She gives birth to this kind of white octopus who has a very fast developement (less than a day I guess like the alien)
And this "octopus" is in reality the very first facehugger which then drop an embryo in the space jockey then creating the very first xenomorph who will spawn the facehuggers we already know.

from what little i understood of this borefest, was that the engineers created the creatures (for simplicity, hereby called aliens) after they changed their mind about humans, and planned to use them agaisnt us. however, the aliens turned against the engineers, and the few left managed to enclose them in those cylinder thingies, at the cost of their lives. those snake thinges? aliens. remember that one of them facefucked the guy with the glasses, almost faced fucked the german girl.

My guess is that between Prometheus and Alien, Elizabeth Shaw is flying the other ship that we see at the end of Prometheus. Somehow, Shaw gets impregnated and Crash Lands on LV 426, and thats when the chest burster arrives. That would make Shaw the Space Jockey we see in Alien.

Prometheus turned out to be the best movie of 2012 for me. I hope they are planning a sequel.

Well, It almost one year since the last post but I can say that.
the sequence that they Call is [Paradise]
Prometheus got the Way to the paradise, I believe that the first movie was full of gaps just to people see the sequel.
