FILM & TV MUSIC SAMPLER by Joseph Vitarelli (Lossless/FLAC)
Joseph Vitarelli isn't a well-known composer, even though he's been active since the 80s. He gained attention in 2003 with his surprisingly tuneful score for "My Architect," a documentary on the legendary architect Louis Kahn. In 2005 he got an Emmy nomination for his music to the Sci-fi TV series "Revelations" and in 2008 went on to score the HBO mini-series "John Adams."
Much of his music has never been released, so a disc like this is welcome. As a sampler, the music runs the gamut of styles: some atmospheric tunes featuring guitar, some suspense, some ballads, some blues. I don't even remember where I got the disc from, but the crude cover looks like it was made by someone in prison. So I made a new cover and added track times etc. See spoiler for additional info on the movies & TV shows represented.
27 tracks totaling about 1 hour & 9 minutes.
Great stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.
Tau Analyzer indicated all tracks on the disc to be lossless.
Disc was ripped to FLAC using XLD
