I’ve been collecting the best versions of soundtracks to Rareware games I could find over the years.
Some I’ve ripped myself, some I found in sites that have gone down a long time ago, some from here and some even from youtube.
The goal of this thread is to share the Rareware love and even more importantly, assemble the best, most complete and well organized version of each Game’s soundtrack. The focus will be on the games released from Donkey Kong Country series and onwards. And no, Kinect Sports music will not be featured 😉

I’m going to put an update here with each soundtrack I’ll upload, and you guys should feel free to pitch in and help make an even higher quality/more complete versions of these soundtracks.
I’m pretty sure this thread will be a must for any Rareware / Nintendo fan, So enjoy !

Well well well… What can I say? Mission accomplished !! 🙂
I’ve uploaded all the essential Rareware Music since DKC came out. I wanted a complete collection and I think this thread here might be the ultimate source for Rareware music as I promissed.
I hope people will find this useful and it will bring happiness to all the old and new Rareware fans, I think this company has made some of the best games ever and the music was always part of the magic.
I have some nice extras I’m going to share here in the future and perhaps even go back in time and cover some older Rareware classics.

I see alot of these soundtracks popping up in flac in some threads, I don’t hear the difference between the high quality mp3s of the older soundtracks I’ve uploaded here and the flac version so I have gone with mp3 ( I like to burn music and listen to it in my car stereo which does not support .flac), However I might uploaded flac in the future or even better version of some soundtracks if they will exist.
As of now I beleive these are the best version of each game soundtracks, But please feel free to recommand better ones.

Could not find any gamerip of this game, let alone an organized one. So here is my take on it 😉
I arranged the soundtrack in an organized and easily listenable way but couldn’t recall the order in which some songs appear. Enjoy!

It’s such a shame the music from Rareware is rarely released officially, they had some of the greatest musicians ever, thank goodness there are always gamerips.
BTW, Rareware.com had a music archive in it before the infamous Kinect Sports overhaul, I managed to get most of the files available there with archive.org, however I’m missing some of them, I hope you or someone can help me if you have the original files:

Question: Are the kazooie and tooie soundtracks actual gamerips or recorded? Because I hear sfx in some songs. Other than that thank you so much for all of this! I hope medafire won’t delete your files fast, if it does, switch to filefactory, it seems as though uploads stay alive longer there and that’s why I bought a premium account as well. Well I ‘ve gone just through a few tracks, I guess it was coincidence that these tracks were the ones with a tiny bit sfx in them, all others are free I guess. 08 Spiral Mountain has birds in the background for instance, or 12 Bridge to Gruntilda’s Lair you can hear wind and some birds, though realizing that almost all songs are sfx free I guess it’s inbuilt sfx! So thanks a lot, all is O.K.! Downloading star fox adventures as well, gonna see if I remember any songs from this good game.

haha thats just Grant’s style he likes putting in some sfx as part of the music:) Starfox however has cutscenes with Voiceovers. Enjoy!

A couple of notes:
The "Remixes" are what you might know as "X" themes.
"Jungle Perimeter" is the correct title of the track that is incorrectly tagged, in the game rip, as "Unsquare Water Dance"
"Original Jungle Music" is .. the original music that was going to be use in that stage, before they decided to just use jungle ambient sounds… this is erroneously tagged as "Basement".
The "Alternate" death jingles are what are referred to as "Beta" in the USF rip

A couple of notes:
The "Remixes" are what you might know as "X" themes.
"Jungle Perimeter" is the correct title of the track that is incorrectly tagged, in the game rip, as "Unsquare Water Dance"
"Original Jungle Music" is .. the original music that was going to be use in that stage, before they decided to just use jungle ambient sounds… this is erroneously tagged as "Basement".
The "Alternate" death jingles are what are referred to as "Beta" in the USF rip
