when i put this onto my ipod my itunes wouldn't backup cause it says my ipod has a passcode which it hasn't.... i think someone tried to put a hidden program into this.... I stopped the sync

someone run a spyware detect on this file cause i got some dodgy message about a passcode which i never set on my ipod... never happened before

so it has to be these filesi get no issue from them in foobar2000 or iTunes. i don't have an Apple portable device but dropping one file onto my Sansa portable causes no issue either. so it can't be the files.

Apple hardware has so many bugs which are never fixed. This wouldn't be the first. Deal with it and pester Apple instead ;)

was previously unaware of that, LiquidAcid. makes me glad i have saved some money buying Sansa all these years past.

Well, Sansa probably has the same amount of bugs in their players but at least they try to fix them. And if everything else fails you can still try using Rockbox (most Sansa players use standard (and well-documented) hardware components).

And if everything else fails you can still try using Rockbox (most Sansa players use standard (and well-documented) hardware components).stable builds of Rockbox are precisely why i buy Sansa. i know they have working builds for Apple devices as well but i didn't feel like spending that kind of money on an iPod/etc just to use the non default firmware.
