Note: this has always been one of the most cherished albums in my collection and after years of not listening to this I was deterred slightly by the quality of the original source so in this release I went in and completely cleaned the audio up as much as possible without further damaging the quality as well as completely remixed the sound to where it now has a consistent sound level matching an official album more closely but despite how nice all of this sounds, let's face it: it doesn't have the best sound in the world. The quality does fluctuate between tracks but all in all I tried to balance it all out as best as I could and I'm quite pleased with the results. It's far from unlistenable and definitely the best representation of the score we're going to have until the original masters are located, purchased and released by some record label but from what I hear the cost to get the license for this score is outrageously expensive so it may be years before we get an official album for this so I hope you enjoy nonetheless! This release is in FLAC but it's not authentic meaning the original source was encoded at 192 MP3. It still sounds great but the limitations of the original source are heard.
