LADIES & THE CHAMP/MIRACLE WORKER (music by Frederic Talgorn) (Lossless) (FLAC)
Since posting this curious CD, I've learned the following...
This is actually a compilation of music already written by Talgorn that was gathered together and submitted in hopes of him winning the job of scoring the music to two upcoming TV movies. In the end, unfortunately, Talgorn would not get either assignment. In a quick comparison of Talgorn's commercial scores prior to the dates of these 2 submissions, I found that only 1 track is also included here: "Life Goes On" is from Talgorn's "The Temp" (where it's called "Getting the Report Off"). Where did the other tracks come from? Perhaps from Talgorn's numerous volumes of production music for DeWolfe and KPM. Maybe from something recorded, but never released. Anyone with additional info is encouraged to contribute!
Wherever the music came from, 7 tracks were aimed at 2001’s “Ladies & the Champ,” a movie about prizefighting, and the other 5 tracks aimed at 2000’s “Miracle Worker,” a remake of the 1962 classic. These 12 tracks total just 18 minutes.
Source: CD (Agency promo)
Audio Quality: good stereo sound with no dialog or sfx.
Tau Analyzer and EAC indicated the recording to be Lossless
Ripped to FLAC using XLD
Link is in spoiler...
