Ive listened to all the FF6 soundtracks and cant find a particular song from the game, Its the music that plays near the beginning when you first encounter the esper, after killing the snail. Theres an awesome piece of music that plays when the esper comes to life or whatever. How come that song isnt on the soundtrack?

I admit I couldn't quite place what track you were referring to on FFVI's OST, so I played through that part of the game again to check, and the only two pieces of music to play in that section (immediately after killing Whelk, and up to, and including, the encounter with Tritoch), is Narshe (which plays up to reaching Tritoch), and Another World of Beasts (the Esper World theme) which plays during the psuedo-battle encounter with the Esper up to Vicks and Wedge's deaths and Terra's release from the Slave Crown. Both tracks are easily found on the official Japanese FFVI OST 3 CD album.

Other than that, I have no idea what track you're thinking of.

Personally:My favorite is grand finale.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7Hz1xmrYX4.What i loved about ff6,was that the music matched the mood perfectly, and made it into a play almost.Everything was in sync.
