On January 4, 2012, 4Leaf Studios released what would be a project inspired by one extra sketch from a doujinshi by RAITA - a project that took more or less 12 years to realize. That visual novel game was Katawa Shoujo, which, strange as it may seem, originated from a certain well-known imageboard, and progressed on from there to an Act 1 release that was well - received by those who played it, and had them waiting to this day.
Before anything else, this is not some sort of exploitative game that makes fun or amusing entertainment of people with disabilities. In fact, it is quite the opposite. And they handle the subject well enough to make it part of the story but not illustrated as a hindrance or a source of amusement.
And so, I would like to recommend this game to you all. You may go ahead and search online for reviews and read them; but I do hope you do consider playing it.
I am not really good at explaining stuff, so I will let this image do it for you. Enjoy. (
