I jumped 10000 times in alexandria and got fat chocobo card ...It is bad reward but now i will try more (you know that after you jump over 1000 you get key item king of master jumping).Did anyone do it excpt me?

Apparently only you, because none of the faqs state that you can jump more then 10.000 which would be quite insane to actually attempt let alone do. ^^;

Uhmm, anyway.. to all other members... what's your high score? Are you a skilled button bssher and reached the 1000? Or were you just as some others lazy and just jumped a couple of times? :)

20's about my limit. IX didn't exactly have many good mini-games.

Huh? A fat chocobo card is your reward for jump-roping 10,000 times? What a sucky reward if that's true, considering you can just get one off of the Fat Chocobo himself.

I think my record is like around thirty or something. I suck at that game.

i jumped 1000000 times and got a fight a 'weapon' and when i beat that got a pink Chocobo...really

If you sat there and jumped 10000 times for the skipping rope, then I am seriously worried about your general state of health. That's like... Four hours of constantly sitting there, if not longer... I couldn't do that just concentrated on one thing for that amount of time...

... That and the strategy guide doesn't mention it.

Well, sort of. The hippo running isn't actually connected to the jump-rope, but it is in Alexandria. You can only play it as Vivi on Disc 3 in the return to Alexandria part. I was okay at that game. I think I once got forty or fifty on it, but I was never good enough to get way at the top and get the Athlete Queen key item.

The highest I got was about... 12. Haha! :p

My highest was about 102, 103. It's kinda fun, especially since you can use Vivi and Eiko! :D I suck at that game though.

I can't believe anyone would sit and play that minigame for so long. It's boring. And wouldn't it be annoying if you got to 9999 jumps and then lost and had to start all over again?
Most I've ever managed is 26 and that was long enough.

my best was 250 after that i lost it and couldn't
be asked to keep going didn't really see the point no offence
but it isn't possible to get to 10000 as your concentration
would lack and with the way it speeds up sorry but no at
all possible.

I think I managed 147 or so... Or maybe it was just 47, it's been way to long to remember ^_^

Anyway, the only rewards in the jumproping mini-game, if I remember correctly, weren't that useful, unless you got clear up to 1000 or so, which I knew I could never do, so I never put much time into it...

All the things you get from doing the jump-rope mini game is the Athelete Queen key item. All the cards and other stuff can be found elsewhere, and the Athelete Queen doesnt do anything. Ive done 1004 jumps just to get it, but i didnt feel like doing anymore than a a thousand or so presses of the X button.

I just did the jump rope game again lol, I jumped 230 times before I lost lol. But Holy crap man o.o who can get like 10,000 jumps o.O that'll take non-stop hours and hours :eek:

i got near 300 after reading everyones comments. but i guess im not cut out for pressing the button until i cant feel my arm

If you jump over 1000 in Alexandria,you will get item called king of master jumping...There isn't purpose of that,in the game later.There is something written like:A medal of honor given to jump rope champion..And when you are racing Hippaul on disc 3 and if you come to lv 80 you will get athlete queen.

AHAHAHA! i was just thinking of writing something along those lines after i read ss' thread starter. please. 10000? maybe he forgot the decimal point.

just wondering...do you actually have any proof of this, i mean first of all what does a "pink chocobo" do and what's the point in one, i think it would be utterly impossible for anyone to jump that amount of times, it's difficult enough getting to 100 let alone 1,000, my personal best is 105 but i am always trying to beat that.

i only got to 300 and after trying farther the jumps alternated like quick quick normal or something and that ticked me off so i quit yeah...

I got to around 150. Then I tried again but quit at 60. It's just...boring.

I only get 30 jumps at the beginning if the game when i play FF IX, cause i want cactuar card at the start =)

My max was 500. The mini-games were great in my opinion. And about the 10000 jump thing, it might be true but there is a Gameshark code, thats called Hold R1 when X need to be pressed, this means. If he holds R1 then everytime that X icon appears above Vivi's head, he would jump. -But I really doubt it he used that code.

why would you doubt he used that code when that makes the most sense? (yeah i don't use gameshark ever so don't know if there's a limit to the cheat's accuracy or you're just saying that because of Solidus Snake's excess glee in performing this outrageous task seeming as if he put real effort into it..)

I discovered that the final letter of the cards isn't E but F.
Another thing, I need only one card to have all 100, but I don't know what card is it. It's the first one over Ultima sword. Is there anyone how knows that card?

man i feel worthless my max was like 7 or 8 i was horrible at that mini game
