For Digimon World 3, t'd be cool if somebody took the BIN files on the CD and figured out how to translate them into MIDI, then we could reconstruct the soundtrack using samples.

Yes, people want this: デジモンワールド3歌と音楽集 (Digimon World 3 Uta to Ongaku-shuu). However, I made some searching and I'm pretty sure this OST does NOT exist at all. There is no official information about this in any Japanese listing, either.

If you can figure out how to rip the .BIN files the music is stored in, sure. The samples are easy enough to get to. It's sequenced music not streamed and they're much harder to rip, though I'm surprised nobody has tried to convert them yet.

Man, I guess it required a good understanding on using IDA Pro to disassemble the binary of PSX game and rip those sequenced music, including searching in those dummy files to gain notes VX. I have tried, and still didn't learned how to rip them easily, Digimon 2, 3 and 2003 are too way different than other games.
