I LOVE TENCHI MUYO!!!! Its one of my fav. animes on the planet. I didn't think Tenchi in Tokyo was as good as Tenchi Muyo and Tenchi Universe, but it was still pretty cool... I actually own all 3 Tenchi Movies on DVD and I have Ryo-ohki plushie (that Tal got me for my 17th birthday), and a Tenchi Muyo poster. :D

I LOVE Tenchi Muyo! It is also one of my favorite anime series. I am not as big of a fan as Valvalis is though...
Ryoko is my favorite character and I act nothing like her.
Her spaceship Ryo-ohki is adorable!
I liked Tenchi Universe, then Tenchi Muyo!, then Tenchi in Tokyo. Something about Tenchi in Tokyo is not as appealing as the other two series.
I really want to see Daughter of Darkness and the Pretty Sammy series soon!

Too many anime and too little time. I've heard people yelling tenchi, tenchi, tenchi all the time, but I just don't have the time for every single anime on earth. Besides, it's rather old, so unless I run into it I probably will never watch it. I'm sure it must be really good though, since pretty much every Otaku(except me) has seen it. There are just so many other newer and better anime coming out, so it's just a shame that I missed it while it was hot.

My favourite character is Aeka, it's so fun when her and Ryouko get into hissy fits. BTW, the 3rd OAV series is arriving this summer in Japan, can't wait to see it.

Ha ha Tenchi is one crazy anime. I think I like the Tenchi Universe series the best, although I havent seen every episode in every series.

yeah, i really liked Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi Universe, never say Tenchi in Tokyo.... ;) The other 2 were really enjoyable series, though. :)

Out of all 3 of the Tenchi movies, i'd have to say that the first two are the best. The 3rd one was ok, but not as good. Still made me cry through. :eye:

My favorite charas would be Sasami, Washu, and Ryoko.

Sasami because she looks soo cute with er Pretty Sammy costume on and her personality, of course.^_^

Washu 'cuz she's soo hillarious!!! I also like the way she laughs as well, demented an' all, lol.^^0

Ryoko be'cuz it's fun to see Aeyeka and her get into their meaningless fitz, lol. And also, i like her evil personality.^_~

I love Tenchi Muyo, and Universe, but besause of my job, and the disgusting hours i work, i have missed a lot of episodes. When i do get to see it though, it is fun!
My boyfriend actually bought me a plush Ryo Ohki, when you squeeze her paw, the jewel on her forehead lights up!
He also bought me an Aeika figure with guardians! The symbols on the guardians also light up when you press a button!:)

I've only ever seen the two series' i mentioned though, i didn't know there was any more Tenchi out there...

I would have to say that it is tied for my 2nd fav anime with Trigun. I didn't really enjoy Tenchi in Tokyo, but OVA and Universe were awsome! I prefer Aeka over Ryoko, mainly because Ryoko is a selfish bitch. But I really like all the characters. Sasami is cool.

Tenchi Muyo and Tenchi Universe are pretty cool. Tokyo however:notgood: . The animation just plaine sucked and the story was so trite and typical. My favorite characters were Washu and Ryoko. Washu is funny and she looks pretty nice in her bigger form.:) :) :) . And Ryoko, well she just looks good all the time. lol, I like Tenchi too. From what I've seen, I like all 3 of them. It's interesting, considering my favorite anime/manga is Berserk, which is about the darkest anime you'll ever see. I guess everyone needs some lighthearted fun every now and then.

Tenchi in Tokyo is so awesome. Ive been wacthing it alot.

Yeah, I've seen those episodes. I used to watch the show everytime it came on, but now I can't even watch it. The only thing I can do now is look at picts of the series on the internet.

I've always liked the series (My friends like it too. One of my friends collect pictures of Tenchi cause she has a crush on the character (PS Kady If you're reading this...It'll never work out)) but one thing has always bothered me.

Why do each of the series (Muyo, Universe, In Tokyo) all state the same thing but slightly different. In each he seems to fall in love with a different girl and who and what they are slightly changes. I have never understood why this was so.

I know it's only a show, but I was always curious of why this was so.

Thats one of the things that Makes TM different from the rest of the pack. Dont worry it gets confusing for me too sometimnes. But thats usually half the fun.:D

I love the Tenchi OAV series. Heehee. The Entire OAV series and two Tenchi movies were just donated to me by a friend. Along with the rest of his Anime collection. My already large collection doubled. He gave them to me so he could have room to buy them all on DVD. My favorite Tenchi characters are Ryoko and Washu!! But, I love Kagato! OHHHH! Too bad about what happens to him though. I think they shoulda had in the plot that he lost all his powers and got stranded on Earth with everyone else. Now, THAT woulda been funny!!

Personally, the CN version of the Tenchi series can beat itself over the head with a blunt object of some sort.

But I love Tenchi Muyo, with all it's lovely sexual tension and racy discussions and such.

I love the series and I really would like to buy it. But stupid Pioneer charges you $125 for the entire OVA! They just piss me off sometimes, like they don't already have enought money.

In Tenchi Universe, I don't think it's a difference in maturity, because Ayaka uses the fact that she's a princess and tries to rub it it, you can see her ugly side come out whenever someone calls her an old maid (and she acts like one sometimes too). Ryoko just tends to act more vulgar.

Anyway, my favorite character is Ryoko overall. But I find it funny how much irony is in the Universe series, such as Kiyone and Mihoshi being parkners, I love the parts when Kiyone complains about Mihoshi.

I've only seen some of the Tenchi in Tokyo Series, but I still loved that episode where Ryoko is on a date with Tenchi, even if the series isn't as good as the others.
Havn't seen OVA at all though, I got into the series last year so...now I need to go and buy the OVA on DVD...

BTW, never buy a boxed set in America if you can help it (unless it has some feature you think is worth $100 more...) I bought the whole Tenchi Unverse series on 3 DVDs, has Japanese (default) but also English (same voices as if you bought the boxed set) and if your a subtitle fan it has Chinese (default) English subtitles. All the way from Hong Kong for $40, and it's an all region DVD set so you can play it on any DVD player. Of course, most series' don't come this way, and you usually have to hunt them down on ebay or something.

It was hard for me to find vol.1, so I never bothered to get the other two volumes. Then, a couple moths later I found the entire set used at Slackers (game shop, in case you didn't know) with the tin! My advice is to just order vol.1 from amazon though. It's faster and more reliable than looking for it in stores.

I saw Tenchi Muyo!, Universe, and in Tokyo before when they used to be on Cartoon Network. I liked Washu the best because she's such a funny mad scientist. In my group of pals, I'd get called "Washu" or "Miss Washu" (depending on who's talking to me), while one friend was Ryoko, Aeka (she calls me "Miss Washu"), and Tenchi. With another friend, we'd call someone a "Mihoshi" if the word "baka" isn't strong enough to describe something stupid. Yeah, we're all weeaboos. :D

Tenchi was one of my favorite anime. I have several DVDs of it. My favorite characters were Sasmi and Ryo-ohki because the are so cute, helpful, and innocent.

i think i watched some of it's episodes . .

www.narutofob.com has alot of the Tenchi series (altho they're missing one of the 4 tenchi movies :() but i quit using that site because the bandwidth became really slow and unrealiable. But you rmileage may vary so give it a try :D.
