Personally, I would have gone with use. I find it much more useful. :)

Provoke (on Tidus's SG; this command provokes the target to attack only the user, which is useful to control who gets attacked, and also to prevent some devastating group attacks like Bad Breath)

Mental Break (on Auron's SG; this ability is a basic physical attack that also reduces the target's Magic Defense, if it's not immune to it)

Entrust - this is like one of Aeris's limits in FFVII. Firaga? Never a big fan of FFX's black magic.

Besides, Entrust meant that you could turn over the Overdrive bar of one of the characters that had a pretty useful Overdrive, like, say, Wakka.

It depends on the opponent, the big bad guys around the end are usually more about power than speed, so I would have to say Magic Break
