Does anyone have the newly released version to Humanoids From The Deep and Krull by James Horner?

What do you mean by recently released? Krull just had a new release but the Humanoids/Krull album is a bit older. I have it. I can give you any mp3 format you want, or I can do Windows lossless (wav format).

They reissued Humanoids HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP - Original Soundtrack by James Horner (http://buysoundtrax.stores.yahoo.net/hufrdeorsoby.html) as for Krull I know its somewhat older but I would like the newer one in mp3

I don't have that version of Humanoids. The newer release of Krull contains the same material as the older release, and sounds just as good. (to me anyway). There is absolutely no difference in musical content.

pass ig needed: BOB (case sensitive)

I never bothered with the newer releases, since I have that disc. I am not sure if Humanoids contains more score or not. The iso score...dunno.

Didn't noticed about the newer edition for Humanoids From The Deep. :D

And a newer version of Krull? AFAIK there's the single CD version and later 2 CD version (more complete edition). Are you talking about the 2 CD version?

I have both of them, but that was a long time ago. Is the 2010 La La Land release the same?

Update: Just noticed that here http://www.filmtracks.com/titles/krull.html

The new release includes a concert arrangement of the Krull theme as a bonus track, as well one track (The Walk to the Seer's Cave) edited from the album. But there isn't any new music in fact. The bonus Krull theme was taken from the Main and End Title cues of the album, and 'The Walk to the Seer's Cave' album edit only is omitted the redudant music parts of the album track.
Apart of that the only significant difference from this new release compared to the previous 2CD version, are the tracks that are now in the correct chronological order, meaning that the concert version of the love theme is now at the end of CD 2, but that's something that you can program if you have the older edition anyway.

Wasn't it said that one main reason they released the new set was the comparative rarity of the older one?

Exactly. And for that reason the people who never had the chance to buy any of the older editions, could buy the new one without missing any bit of music that was released before, with the advantage that the Lalaland version has the correct track order and a slightly improved sound mastering.
But with a consequence that the Lala set is now out of print too, since all of the copies were sold. Not a surprise. It's really a great score :)

Yups, it was a real great score. James Horner worked hard and frantically, given the schedule, until he fell sick on this one. His great effort however puts this as one of my favorite scores. :)
