This was a labour of love inspired by other users taking Jeremy Soule releases and remastering them. I
noticed how hard it was to find the Interplay version of this release and thought i should compile my own
mix, using the same track sequence and no sfx. The only leaks I could find so far are available on
Youtube, but those sounded a little hollow. Because this never got an official release beyond a rare
limited 50 unit promo and public mp3 post that no longer exists, I decided to go to various sources to look
for better versions of these tracks. I looked to the game itself, and thanks to VAGGUESS/ADPCM
Player and Alpha23's streamed vgm thread, I got 99% of the tracks. I had to borrow from Youtube (27.
Distant Realms) to get a sfx free cinematic, and some battle music endings. So there was some editing
involved to combine cues just as Soule did to recreate the same track durations. Besides these, I made no
other adjustments to the sound, as it is already an improvement IMHO. I hope this post will help to get
this score into more homes. Enjoy!!!
