This happens very frequently. Whenever I clicked on Edit to correct mistakes, the hourglass comes up and does nothing. Tried on IE and it says Done but with errors on page. :(

Is there a PHP code or database problem?

You can just right click on edit post and open in a new tab.

It this a bug? Sometimes even the Reply button doesn't work (on both FireFox and IE).

Do either what Jessie said or just double click on Reply to Thread / Reply with Quote or Edit Post, and you'll be instantly taken to the advanced editor.
