Everybody keeps talking about their favorite anime, but nobody ever mentions yu-gi-oh. Am I the only person who watches it? And don’t even say its for kids because some of the story plots are way to much for kids to understand.

It is too kiddy and not worth watching…for most of us…we laugh at you…

I watch it sometimes. 🙂
It’s pretty silly stuff, but I like silly things, so it’s all good.
I don’t really get caught up in the plot though, because the episodes I watch are usually from completely different parts of the story.

But according to your profile, you’re a kid yourself.

Look I’m 15, and I know that’s young, but still I’m not a little kid anymore, I know about things I probably shouldn’t and I understand things I probably shouldn’t, and I think that you shouldn’t talk about me unless you know me so lay off buddy.

Thanks for the laugh, sport. Not only did you completely misunderstand what I said (which was merely an observation, not some kind of attack), but you also gifted me with a stereotypical teenage "I’m special" bit to chuckle at.

Don’t feel bad brother, I’m the same age as you and some kids say I’m like 10 years old!

Personally, I don’t think there is anything wrong with watching Yu-Gi-Oh!, to each his own. My nephew loves it, so I watch it sometimes. Since Yugi is a bit of a wimp (the kid, not the pharoe guy) I pretty much like Kaiba. I’ve always liked cheering against the wimp..same reason I like Draco Malfoy instead of Harry when it comes to the Harry Potter books. I kinda like Joey too, and that girl that hangs around with them 🙂 I can’t stand that dude that hangs out with them, the older taller one with the weird haircut..or is it a pointy lopsided hat?

Your talking about Tea (the girl that hangs out with Yugi) and Tristen (the tall guy with the werid haircut).

Sayu I’m glad that you understand what I mean though.

I watched it a few times already, but I don’t like it. I just watch it, if there’s nothing else on TV. Maybe I’m watching it then, because I hope it is getting better some day. 🙁

Man, Yugioh is way too dramatic about everything…everybody’s always yelling…what’s up with that?

Thanks for clearing that up Sayu 🙂 I agree Chorns, it really makes no sense to me.
Recently my family went to my cousins 7th birthday party, little boys everywhere. They were all playing Yu-Gi-Oh, and I swear to god, they were sitting three feet away from eachother – and they were yelling! They were like "My blue eyes shining dragon will obliterate your celtic guardian!!!" at the top of their damn lungs, just like the show. Maybe i’m just old (like they said when I asked what the hell they were yelling for) but I just don’t get it..

I only watch it when there’s nothing else on and I need a good chuckle.

I used to like it but it really dramictic
Sayu

There’s a reason why the show is so the dramictic, you have all these bad guys trying to get their hands on Yugi or his puzzle (the one that Yugi always wears). In these type of situation, Yugi’s friends are like targets.
