American Spectrum is the North Carolina Symphonys first-ever international recording, put out by Sweden’s BIS Records. Also featuring saxophone sensation Branford Marsalis and the Branford Marsalis Quartet, the CD showcases the orchestra in a range of American music by Michael Daugherty, John Williams, Ned Rorem and Christopher Rouse. Grant Llewellyn conducts.

I nice collection of jazz themed music brilliantly played and recorded. Including ‘Escapades’, a concert arrangement from the score to ‘Catch me if you can’ by John Williams.
