Many themes to enjoy, some very famous and some new for me, like those of Gottschalk. Besides, these would be some thoughts aloud of a part of me:
– Nice, Williams’ "Liberty Fanfare" in the first track.
– The title of the instrumental track #02 should be "Yankee Doodle / Battle Cry Of Freedom". The version of the latter with chorus is great in John Williams’ "Lincoln".
– Nice, Appalachian Spring; almost Williams’ "Air And Simple Gifts".
– Nice, another version of "God Bless America". How I LoVe that song in Williams/Boston Pops "The Green Album"!!
– Nice, Carmen Dragon arranged "America The Beautiful", which is also in Williams’ "The Green Album".
– The end of the piccolo solo on The Star & Stripes Forever always brings applauses in [John Williams’] concerts.
Did I look like a fan of someone? 😀
