All 7 Fever/All Lucky 7s

I never really wanted to acheve all 7 fever, because by the time my character had enough HP to hit 7777, he was attacking for over 9000 anyway. But I was just fighting emerald, and I got it. Everything I have ever seen on the internet was wrong. I thought I should clear this up, so nobody avoids getting it as I have been.

During this time, the person affected by the ‘All 7 Fever’ will make one normal attack against each enemy when their Time Bar is filled, even if you have materia such as Slice Everybody or Mega All
equipped.

The one mistake in this sentence, and everywhere else I have looked, is that the character will only attack when the limit bar is full. On the PS version, at least, the character will attack again and again and again, and noone else can attack. They stop attacking after around 20 hits. It was certainly very helpful against the weapon. So, another way to defeat the weapons easily:

Equip the materia sugested in the main area of the shrine, along with HP Plus purple materia (avalable at cosmo canyon,) to rise that persons HP above 7777. Also (removed before the battle with weapon,) transform and manipulate. Go back to midgar, and run around outside sector five until you fight. If you are attacked by worms with big round mouths, good. Kill all but one, and manipulate it. Use its attack on yourselves. It will do 11 damage each time. Use your mathematical skill to get all of your characters HP to just above xx77. (If you can get it perfectly to xx77, great.). The number CANNOT BE 7777 or you will go into all 7 fever early. Leave the enemy manipulated, and shrink one or more of your characters, and get them to attack themselves and their teammates. The attack should do 1 damage. Keep going until they hit xx77. Kill the last enemy, go back to the Highwind, save your game. Use potions/hi potions to get you health to 7777, and go and fight either weapon. Repeat for the other weapon.

I tried using 7777 against Emerald Weapon. It won’t defeat him, but it will take a good chunk of his HP out, thus making it a bit easier to kill him.

I also tried using 7777 on Emerald Weapon before, but I didn’t come too far with it. Actually I didn’t really like it that much, so I decided to kill him with "my old way" again. That goes quicker, and I don’t have to do all that work for getting 7777. 😉

i can defeat emerald weapon easily beleive it or not but i can not survive its final attack before it dies.

I tried using 7777 on Emerald, didn’t work for me. It might have helped a little, but it was much easier to kill him with summons, magic, etc. 7777 didn’t do much so I just killed him off a different way. 😀 a much more helpful way!

That’s strange: when all three of my characters had finished their 7777 attacks, it only took one KotR to defeat emerald.

I didn’t use the 7777 trick on emerald just cast a neverending chain on KOTR with mime and W-Summon. Took me 1/2 hour, though.
