Isn’t most of the music from James Horner’s score for Aliens though? If it is, just track that score down.

No, the music is inspired by both Horner and Goldsmith. It looks like there won’t be an official ost, so a rip would be fantastic.

I’m up for this aswell!
While the game is flawed (not quite as dismal as reviews would have you believe), the music is a worthy continuation of the established Alien/Aliens sound.

The music was composed by Kevin Riepl (if you like Gears of Wars of Resistance maybe his name could be familiar) and is heavily influenced by Goldsmith and Horner. You can read an interview here (http://www.forbes.com/sites/jenniferbosier/2013/01/15/the-sound-of-aliens-colonial-marines-an-interview-with-composer-kevin-riepl/).

According to Riepl’s official site, there seems to be an official OST in the making:

I hope that the bad press for the game won’t affect this release, but on the other hand, the ACM sales seem to be pretty good. Oh, and does anyone else have difficulties finding the samples on Riepl’s site?
EDIT: Nevermind, my script blocker was the culprit.
