Please elaborate. Do you mean self-plagiarising? Do you mean it’s not as good as the Inuyasha/Luna Sea/Sailor Moon R, etc./more to come orchestration albums? Just another Senju shtick?

Self plagiarism all the way. I’ve never known a composer to so lazily quote themselves for such extended periods of time. I love Senju to bits but it’s hard to ignore when he inserts the exact same passage into just about every single score he’s written in twenty years or more. Get a hold of this lot! 😉

This album is indeed a thinly veiled re-recording of Walkure Story. Not that I’m complaining because both are great… but only Akira Senju could get away with "orchestrating" an album of game music and some unrelated pop songs a few years later and having both albums 80% musically identical… 😉

Being a Westerner who has NO IDEA what this album is a re-recording of, nor especially caring… And having only recently discovered this composer… This is a great album. Lush, grand, emotive music. Don’t care what they’re covers of. All I care about is the music. And it’s great. Thank you for the share. I’m loving all these great Japanese composers I’m discovering!
