After a recommendation for a decent MP game

Like the title says, I’m thinking about getting a MP game for the Xbox 360, but not really sure which one to get. Only prequisites I want, involve lots of guns, lots of explosions and lot of death (more than likely mine lol). I’ve heard that Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 are pretty much the big MP games currently, and I’ve also been watching trolling videos on youtube, and while I’ve gotten a lot of laughs, I’m now interested enough to take the plunge into these style of games.

I was also told to look into Transformers Dark of the Moon as that’s supposed to have a decent SP mode alongside it’s MP as well, but… /shrugs.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just pick up a Call of Duty, I guess? Battlefield 3 only runs at 30FPS on consoles, which is a bit annoying.

I can’t imagine the Dark of the Moon game is any good.

If you go with Call of Duty, I suggest starting with Black Ops. For one, to me, it’s way easier to play compared to Modern Warfare 3 and it’s campaign is the only one I actually liked out of the series.

Im a little late, but Max Payne 3 has a great MP mode.

I know I’m pretty late but I’m curious on what you thought of these games (or game if you got Black Ops).

I did get Black Ops, and what I’ve played of it so far I admit I do enjoy. The singleplayer campaign is ok, but it really shines with the multiplayer. Now, thinking of getting the new "Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier" later today when I pick up "Dragon’s Dogma" and have a multiplayer weekend… Black Ops and Ghost Recon, back to back.

Yeah I was thinking of giving that future soldier game a try until I saw that Black Ops 2 trailer. A future warfare CoD game has been a topic that me and some of my buddies talked about for the past few years. Just because the gunplay seems to be the most solid out of all the FPS games we’ve played but now that it’s a reality, I’ll just wait until it’s released. And the campaign has me pretty intrigued as well. I haven’t played a Tom Clancy game since the first Rainbow Six on PSOne lol
