I’ve recently begun screwing around with SA2: Battle again but, since I have my Wii, I’ve been using my Action Replay on it (which works, BTW) One problem that I keep facing is that every other time I use the Action Replay with my game, it "corrupts" my memory card and makes it unreadable to whatever game I’m playing but if I reset the Wii and insert the memory card again after taking it out, it works fine and the game plays.
What it really comes down to is this: Should I be worried about the safety of my game data and is there a way to prevent this? Keep in mind that I tend to remove my memory card after loading a game with Action Replay to keep it as "sanitized" as possible.

get a backup. it never hurts to have an extra copy for safekeeping. buy another mem card, copy eveyrthing over, and use one for your testing/haxoring purposes. if and when that one ever dies for good. you ain’t got nothing to worry about.
i always keep doubles of all my mem cards. i have 2 for psx, and 3 for ps2. one i never use but backup once in a while. and the other is the one i plug in and use all the time.
good habit. i recommend it.
