Every year I hoped that somehow James Newton Howard would get a nomination for one of his Hunger Games scores, but no luck as the last one missed out again. Realistically I knew it was never going to happen but deep down I still hoped.
Extremely pleased with John Williams being nominated for The Force Awakens though; it’s the one nomination I really hoped for (realistically speaking!) and would have been pained by it being excluded.
